Dairy Lounge — Restaurant in Town of Otego

I hope they read their reviews and take this criticism to do better. This is my second visit with the same issue. I will try them one more time to see if the issue is resolved. The owner is not inviting not pleasant at all girl at the window was nice, but the biggest issue is the soft ice cream has chewy Sandy grit in it. I thought it was the issue just because they just opened new ownership two months later same issue ice cream Is either curdled and spoiled or they’re not cleaning their machine it’s a health risk and I find it disgusting this is from someone that ran an ice cream store for over 20 years. I wish this business the best and hope they correct this problem. I am an Otego local and I frequent this place before the new owners at least once a week. I will try them one more time the same issue occurs. I will never go back. I hope they correct the issue, because I want this business to succeed I would’ve had a personal conversation with the owner if she was more inviting instead of using a review where everyone can see. My children and I stopped at Sprinkles for an afternoon ice cream and were surprised by the vast menu of ice creams, both soft and hard, sundaes, mix-ins, and sauces plus a huge menu of lunch and dinner foods, including fresh cut fries, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, many sandwiches, etc. The small soft cone was huge! And the sundaes were also ample with fresh ingredients. The setting is lovely with a small fish pond, several picnic tables, and indoor seating that is very clean and attractive. This place has the worst soft serve I’ve ever had. It was so thin and watery that it almost had the consistency of whipped cream. The flavors were very artificial tasting, my wife got pistachio and it didn’t taste like any other pistachio ice cream that she’s had, I got s’mores and it tasted like coffee, I hate coffee, I had to throw it away.
