Jerry's Place — Restaurant in Town of Otsego

Great find of a place! It has a easy to find entrance with a generous gravel parking lot. You could probably stop to eat if towing and be able to get in and out. They do have a icecream window outside. Once inside they have the menus at the tables, you seat yourself (and at the counter). Once you decide, order and pay at the counter. You get a vibration pager to alert you to the meal being done. They also appeared to have a take out shelf inside just past the first few tables. The food was really good, the fries were thick and perfectly crispy. The burgers were crazy July. Chili on the Chilli dog appeared to be homemade and very good. The chips served were crispy and perfect. The portions were generous and the pricing was great and didn't break the bank! You can sit inside where there is a good amount of seating. If not being used...there is more seating in the back half of the building where they also have some games for playing. They also use that room for arge groups and rentals according to the sign. Back there it also has a atm and a change machine if needed. Great retro theme all throughout wiith plenty to look at and keep you occupied. Ice cream for desert is a great way to end ...or begin your meal! They do have some outside seating and a little playset for lids to have fun on and burn off some energy. Can't wait to come back again when...

Omgoodness, I have to say, this place is the best! They have wonderful food, ice cream, shakes and the service, let's just say that I love them! I ate lunch there with my client. ( I am a Home Healthcare Caregiver) After we ate, I JUST HAD to get a peanut butter milk shake 😋 ! I checked out and forgot my bank card in their machine... ughs! The owner messaged me! I didn't look at my message requests so the next day I called all around looking for it and the owner didn't even say "hello". He was so awesome and said "WE HAVE YOUR CARD"! I went that day after work and they are so unbelievably awesome people! I told them the day before that "I'LL BE BACK" in which case I did come back!! I ordered their fried clay basket and it of course was delicious! Bottom line is, If your ever in Fly Creek, New York, you should stop in! They have many old trinkets, (especially antique lunch boxes and a statue of ELVIS and many more amenities for parties and family fun! They also have a play ground and gazebo! Fun for everyone! This is a nice family experience. I only had one bad experience with the management there. The manager was taking my ice cream order and I wanted a sundae. I started with the flavor of ice cream I wanted and he stopped me and said, " No, what kind?" I answered and said " Little blue panda flavor. " He got agitated and said , " No, what kind of sundae?" Finally understanding he wanted the topping flavor first so I said " Hot fudge." He nodded but gave me an additude. He didn't say anything else after I paid. He was just kind of gruff and rough around the edges towards me. I still went back a 2nd time for chicken tenders on another day. He was not there. But his staff were good and kind. He is the owner as far as I know. I just had a bad experience one time. So if you order a sundae from him make sure you tell him the kind first or he will be quite rude. Say Hot fudge or caramel BEFORE you tell him the ice cream flavor. I didn't realize there was an " order" to ordering a sundae. But at this place apparently there is. He did not have much of a personality either. Not impressive for the actual owner...
