The Dugout Sports Bar & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Owego

Just went here this afternoon with my fiance, took my father & step mother for Father's day, we've been going once a month for 4 months now, we are not weekly regulars, & we were definitely treated as such today. We walked in & were told to seat ourselves, we took table #1, & waited...& waited, ended up grabbing menus from the front door desk, when our waitress 'Emily' finally got to us, we already knew what we wanted for drinks & food, but she would only take our drink orders, meanwhile, 2 more seperate couples had walked minutes behind us, & by the time Emily came back out to take our orders for food, instead of dropping our order slips at the kitchen, she went & took other people's orders & then dropped all of orders off at the kitchen. We all got burgers, medium-well, the other guests got burgers to, 20 minutes later, the guests that were 3rd in line behind us got served their burgers & sides & we waited another 10 minutes b4 we got ours? The other 2 couples that walked in behind us were eating their food long before us? All of our burgers were definitely well-done, onion rings were burnt to a crisp, my father was banging them on his plate they were so hard. Fun, local hangout with friendly locals who make you feel like you're one of them. During my last visit, I had the black and Bleu burger which was cooked rare, as requested. It was delicious! The sidewinder fries were really good, too. James slings a good drink along with some witty banter. My friends have enjoyed various dishes, such as wings and spiedes salad. Previous: We had good-sized portions and they were not cheap on the adult beverages. The wings were tasty and so were the tacos. We went on a Monday night and it was slow. I passed it the week before on a Tuesday night and it was packed (apparently due to wing specials). We sat inside because it was pretty hot and humid out, but we wings.would like to go back and try the outdoor tiki area. Update: I went back on a Saturday night. My cousin had meatball sliders and fries. He really liked the medium wings. Update: the black and Bleu burger rare, no burger, and sidewinder fries...

Even giving them a 1 is generous! I had perhaps the worst dining experience of my life last night. As we walked in, someone coming out tried to warn us, but we went in anyway. We thought all was well since we got a table quickly. Then we noticed people around us were complaining that they had been there over 1 hour and no food was in sight! We finally saw a server after about 15 minutes, then got our drinks about 15 minutes after that. Around this time, one of the servers publcly broke down and started crying because everyone was critical of the service (cooking really). At one hour, someone came and told us that our food would be put on to be cooked soon......are you kidding me! So, we told him to cash us out and we were going somewhere else. At about 1 hour and 15 minutes in, we through $5 on the table and left......horrible, advise against going here. I will never go...
