Hoppies Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Oxford

The food was good but it took almost an hour to get our food then a friend of mine went here a few days after me and the waitress told her that both times I was in there i didn’t leave her a tip well the first time i had 6 people total my bill came to over 80 dollars I left her 9.00 bucks then the second time there was only 3 of us got just a burger and 2 kids got a ice cream my bill was 40 bucks I left her 6.00 bucks I personally feel I left her a sufficient amount for a tip especially seeing to the fact the first time it took over an hour to get our food and they weren’t busy and the second time mine and one other person out of 3 burgers were so over cooked they were literally crunchy I feel I left more than enough money she’s lucky she even got what she got the next time I go there she won’t be getting a tip at all so i hope she enjoyed running her mouth cause all it did was...

We love this place. A top spot for breakfast. This morning we ordered 2 hungryman breakfasts with blueberries in the pancakes, a western omelet, and French toast and pancakes. AMAZING! The hot coffee kept coming. There were a bunch of berries in the pancakes (I hate it when you only get 10 berries...). Everyone loved the food. The restrooms and restaurant were clean. The staff was amazing. As I said before...I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. Updated April 19.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. It's clean. The staff is polite and friendly. The food is amazing. Try the Belgian Waffles... The coffee keeps coming. The town of Oxford is so cute...I could spend the whole day there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant...

Go somewhere else..

Tried this place last year in sept. Waited 45 mins after getting our drinks to find out the waitress never put our order in. (We had to ask what the issue was, as no one cared to come check on us, the ONLY table left, the waitress must of been hiding in the back) Gave it a second chance today and was told it was an hour wait for food. (There were maybe 6 tables, all with no food) Needless to say we went to The Stadium, and after our lunch there we saw the same people at Hoppies had JUST gotten their food. Hope it was worth the wait. We will never try this place again. Not impressed the first time around by being ignored and never once did a manager or owner reach out. I tell everyone...
