Sauro's Deli — Restaurant in Town of Patterson

I live maybe half. Block away from This deli I was frequenting this place almost every day, And due to the treatment received by some of the employees in this place I no longer go there!! It is quite evident that racism is a huge factor in this place as well as this community! I am a Latina and my husband is a Black American and (BTW) both educated in rather distinct universities, the type of attitude displayed by some was very. undesirable ! One morning my husband entering the deli tried to hold open the door for an elderly white gentleman and he refused to enter, he stated to my husband" I don't like anybody behind me, especially a black man". I have to admit, I'm probably quite bias when it comes to Sauros Deli. As I grew up in Patterson, I practically lived on Sauros. From grabbing a classic BEC (bacon egg and cheese) before school to top notch catering services for birthday parties or graduations, Sauros and staff can do it all! Great Service and Great Food!!! Ordered catering for a family party. We ordered sausage and peppers and chicken parm that everyone enjoyed and took leftovers to go..They also were able to accomadate our picky eaters with blending all the chunks together in the penne vodka!!
