In summary, there IS beautiful view, visible from select tables . The ambiance and decor borders a dive spot with a no frills menu reflecting typical, albeit mediocre tasting and over priced bar fare. The service was terrible but I think it was an outlier. We gave it try but will not be returning.

Below is a really detailed account of our first (and last) visit.

Party of 4 went on a Sunday at 7:30 pm. There had been a rush right before we got there because all the tables were not bussed and it was cleared out. There were about 4 tables seated (2 of which were finishing up as we were seated and the other 2 left shortly after with 2 more coming in after). Music was at a comfortable volume playing classic rock and then got extremely loud playing hip-hop/rap. No issue with the genre, but it was annoying to have to repeat ourselves while trying to have normal conversation at the table. Some parents at a table near us with younger children could have plausibly been uncomfortable with the swearing and profanity in the lyrics playing way too loud.

The server showed up after we had been sitting for about 15 mins. Ordered 4 waters (2 no ice with lemon) and a peach margarita. The margarita came out first and looked like a martini with ice and tasted even worse. Turns out the server, who never made drinks before (she said so herself) had made it and didn't know what she was doing. Ordered a different drink which she promised the bartender would make this time. It took a relatively long time after that for the waters to come. And even then, she only brought 3. LOL. Had to reminder her twice to bring the 4th water.

Ordered crab dip and French onion soup to start and share. Seafood dip was tasty, cheesy and warm but would have preferred unfried pita triangles because they were saturated with oil. French onion soup had way too much bread in the bowl and not enough broth.

For dinner we ordered a full rack of ribs with sweet potato fries and battered chicken tenders with fries. The other couple ordered a full rack with fries and an extra plate and side of BBQ sauce. The server brought out the chicken and one rib order and we asked for silverware and the extra plate and side of sauce. Server came back to confirm the other person had ordered ribs with fries. We had to specify it was with sweet potato fries. She said the ribs were done and it was clear she had rang up the wrong order saying the sweet potato fries would be out later. She brought out the ribs and we had ask again for silverware, plate and sauce. Finally she brought it. The ribs were half eaten by the time the sweet potato fries were brought out.

As for the dinner food itself - rib meat was dry, slaw was bland, the sweet potato fries were over fried. Chicken tenders were moist and somewhat crunchy but the batter had no flavor. The regular fries were a mix of lukewarm and over cooked with hot and undercooked fries.

We waited a long time for the server to come back to bring us the check (she didn't offer dessert, not that we would have ordered any). We also got up to get our own to go boxes because the cart was right there and she was not in sight or speedy to our needs. Then it took an equally long time for her to come back to get the payment and process it, of which she charged the credit cards with the wrong checks. There were only 2 checks...HA.

The server was evidently having a VERY difficult time managing 3 to 4 tables and claimed she was having a rough night but offered no consolation for her numerous and annoying mistakes. She said there were supposed to be 2 other servers but that she let them go home. I think what was was odd was that there was no manager or busser helping her but when we were leaving 3 different people standing together on the outside deck said "thanks for coming and have a good night". It was clear they worked there and were just hanging out outside. It made me feel sorry for the server. She was struggling and could have used back up. If you've made it this far in the review, I hope this recollection of our experience...

Very sad when I have to rescind my 4 star review. I've been coming here since a teen and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. As an observation to me, it's slowly begun to descend downhill within the past 5 years. This being my personal opinion whenever I'd sporadically decide to dine and patron the establishment, hopeful that the resteraunt would eventually get back on track. I let the poor food and service slide within this time frame because it was a dear get-together place. (I didn't even post the day I went with my grandparents and mother and we literally waited 4 hours.) But I digress.

This is about yesterdays service. It's been a long time since I've had a bad meal and this made us all unanimously agree we will not be returning. Which is a shame because I really did love it here. Here is how it went.

I got a job promotion and upon this revelation was pumped and anticipating eating here due to their ribs and the two ladies I went with, the fish fry. We made reservations and was placed in the side room with the falls in our view. So far so good. The decline happens after our waitress takes our drink orders. She forgot one of our coffees and we weren't disgruntled with that, it happens, human errors occur. We knew what each of our trio was going to get and buzzed excitedly about different topics while we waited. The wait became ten minutes, then thirty. Meanwhile couples came in and already placed their food orders. Finally she returns and we order ours. We are still anticipating our meal with much enthusiasm. Fifty minutes go by and a table next to us also sits with a trio. I felt bad for them because our waitress was also theirs however she only visited them twice. I could see them getting visibly upset and I do not blame them. While we wait other couples came and went and I commend that waitress for being attentative and quick. Whereas ours was flighty and disappeared.

Now our food arrives and the friend to the rights food is overcooked. She breaks apart the fish batter to inspect if there's even meat under the breading and most of the space was filled with more air than substance. The outside fried upon her plate were hot but then she bit into the middle ones which were cold. To my left she got a hearty portion of sweet potato fries but when she went to pour the brown sugar infused with butter it was frozen solid. She scraped her fork across the textured top of solidified ice. Now my plate. The ribs fell off the bone but the presentation of the sauce just being a puddle on top of my rack was less than appealing. I was very disappointed when I ordered loaded mashes potatoes and got a baked (which is fine), but it was frozen solid. Not even baked. They sliced a potato, sprinkled cold cheese and bacon on top and didn't even cook it so the toppings would melt.

I attached a picture for you to observe. Again I didn't complain to get money off our bill (I should have thinking back on it today) because did they work hard to deserve our hard earned dollars? No. I took it home so I could heat it up instead. Suffice it to say I will not be steering friends, family, and acquaintances here anymore. This will be a topic to discuss when people ask us if it's "any good". Very disappointed. Do better LC. Maybe in twenty years I'll give it another go but for now, I'm very dissatisfied with...

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time was New Year’s Eve. My fiancĂ© got a mushroom Swiss burger and I got a a turkey wrap and French onion soup. My fiancé’s burger was okay nothing that stood out. My soup was extremely salty, couldn’t finish it but the turkey wrap was amazing. Service was great and zero complaints.

We decided to come here about a week ago for my fiance to get a fish fry. First, it took quite a while for anyone to greet us until the bartender finally did so, and he was very kind. Before that though it was evident the servers were very frustrated when we were waiting there and one of them repeatedly saying to the other “I’m not doing anything”
maybe joking? They wouldn’t even acknowledge us. Anyway, we got seated at a table that had new placemats but was not clean and still had a truli bottle on it we had to remove. The bartender took the placements, never cleaned the table and never replaced the placemats or gave us dinnerware.

I order the turkey wrap and chili, asked if I wanted cheese and I said yes. Found out later there was a $1 fee for that, which I wouldn’t mind paying but would be the servers responsibility to inform the guest. No issues with my meal. Everything tasted very good. My fiance got his fish fry and asked for it extra crispy. He received it and it was luke warm and completely soggy on the bottom so it had been sitting for a while. I will say, it took a LONG time to get our food and a table that came in 10 min after us got their food before us and they had a fish fry and a salad and soup. My daughter ordered a BOWL of clam chowder. The server brought out a CUP. We acknowledged the error and asked for the bowl and she kept saying “well it’s a meal”. I don’t even know what she meant by that because she ordered a bowl not a cup. So her correction to this was to bring out another CUP. I figured okay maybe two cups equals the bowl she ordered? Well, we were then charged for TWO BOWLS. So $13 for two BOWLS when she only received cups and all we ordered was one bowl of soup for $6. I wasn’t even going to ask for a correction to bill because the server had a serious attitude problem with everyone around us. We over heard that a server went home early due to an emergency, and we were very understanding but we felt extremely uncomfortable with our server. She was not very kind even though we kept our manners and saying please and thank you for everything. I will likely not be back here for dine in services again because I’m worried I would get her as a server again. I empathize with servers and the stress of their job. I still tipped 20% because at the end of the day she has a family to support. With the cost of everything and the expense to eat out I want a good experience and this second time has soured that for me at this establishment. I hope the server is doing better and does not provide that type of...
