Clawson's Deli & Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Perinton

Okay, I haven’t been here in legit years and I’m kicking myself for it now. Why I have waited so long, I wish I could tell ya. But please, pause and read this review, because my experience was exceptional tonight. Everyone knows that Clawson’s is the best place in Fairport for groceries, junk food, and meals… so much! I used to come here as a kid because my cousin lived around the corner and we’d walk here. Now fast forward 29 years later, I am blown away at the friendliness of the staff, the variety of selection available and the promptness of the service. And the prices! Very fair…. My fish sandwich meal was so tasty. Big portions. Even came with lemon juice packets and malt vinegar. Little things like that and attention to detail go a long way. My gosh, even the patrons were so super nice!!

Absolutely amazing food. We got a fish fry, Dino nuggets meal and a buff chicken 8inch sandwich! Everything even after heating it up was delicious! Only issues we had was the male(I’m not sure if owner or not) seemed very cold to us being new customers. When asked if they could do a buff wrap he bluntly replied “8inch or 10inch we don’t do that on wraps”. And made us feel slightly like an inconvenience kind of when we ordered around 3ish. As a new customer I felt unwelcome but will come back cause the food was great! Also kind of cramped for such a small place and all that’s offered but again the food...

I’ve been hunting for the perfect deli sandwich in the Rochester area, behold, Clawson’s Deli!!

Nick is the man who usually creates these tasty masterpieces. They are created perfectly to order, even down to the part where I want a “hideous amount of black olives”. Absolutely great.

Now, we all know that the bread is really want brings a sandwich together and makes it perfect. Their bread is absolutely amazing!

I’m sure one of these days I’ll skip the sandwich and try their pizza, and I fully believe I’ll be blown away the same way I have been with...
