The Little Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Town of Peru

Really hate posting reviews like this for small, local restaurants but was super disappointed.

Ordered wings and poutine. Was told it'd be around 25 minutes. I showed up 50 minutes later, and was told it'd be another 8 minutes. It was another 15 from there.

Get home and the poutine fries aren't cooked. Still white and starchy in the middle. Wings were rubbery and undersauced.

It's one thing if this was some gas station food you grabbed at the last minute for dirt cheap. But it isn't. This place isn't cheap.

Two orders of overcooked wings with rubbery skin and poutine we had to throw away for $50 that took over an hour to make. It's really disappointing when this is the best the local community can come up with.

No wonder Pasquale's is so busy they can't even answer the phone when their only competition is this.

I will start by saying their sheet pan pizza is phenomenal! However, we were having a party, and called at 2 o'clock to order 2 sheet pans for delivery for 4:30. She said she would try to get it to us for 4:15, but 4:30 the latest. At 5 o'clock I called because it still wasn't here. Her response was they had gotten behind on the ovens so it had just left for delivery maybe 10 minutes ago. I called early and pre-ordered for a reason! I normally order their sheet pizza. Tonight we ordered a roast beef club, cheeseburger sub, and a calzone. They said an hour for delivery. We waited an hour and a half. Calzone was mostly dough and the 3 toppings we're almost non-existent. My burger ended up being a club not a sub like I ordered. Overly toasted bread and hard as a rock. Only right thing was the roast beef club. $30 and an hour and a half later we finally had cold food delivered so from now on I stick to ordering the sheet...
