This is one of those places you go because of the location. Itās on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Thereās outside and interior seating. The selection of brews and drinks are nice. The three times Iāve eaten here the food has been ok (not bad, but not good or great). I feel bad saying this because the woman who manages this place is very friendly and accommodating. The staff have also been great. The menu is limited. (See the menu pics I uploaded). The biggest issue I have is that the pricing is high for the level of food they are serving. I assume the pricing is due to the fact that itās on the water. Simple things could make the experience so much better. Hand breaded fresh tenders, twice the amount of fries, more fish dishes other than Fridays (itās on Lake Michigan for heavenās sake). Overall, itās a nice place that charges too much. Enjoy the view...

Was a very sad experience this time eating there.
Upon walking in red was only half full maybe 30 people total, but the atmosphere hasnāt changed much with new owners, but what has changed 1/2 hour for anyone to even speak to us & get a drink Another 1/2 hour to place an order even after we told the server that we were ready when our drinks came Another 90 minutes to get food.
Food- Salads were forgotten Potatoās were microwaved Dinner roles forgotten Prime rib tasted like pre bought festival Drinks were the only thing thatās was check sense we were at the bar
$85 - totally not worth it we were ready to walk out door and cancel order, literally when food came out 2.5 hours after arriving
$ 10 tip was left out of sadness and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went for their Friday night fish fry and their perch was excellent-- the best we've had in recent memory. It was lightly battered and deeped fried until golden -- not overdone. It tasted wonderful. And the coleslaw was tasty, the tarter sauce seemed homemade (you could taste the pickle in it) and they also included a large slice of marble rye bread and butter. š However, the French fries were not good -- at all -- and the brandy old fashions were mediocre at best. So, go for their perch but order chips on the side and a beer or a Coke and you won't be disappointed. (They really need to figure out their French fries because what they're doing is not...
