Stunniez Countryside Diner — Restaurant in Town of Pike

The place is nice and clean and modern, looks to be newly renovated and that they did a nice job. My Wife and I drive through this area at least once a month, this was the first time we stopped, and we will be back. Service and Attention was great. The reason for ducking a half a start was a couple of food things that could have been a tad better. We both had breakfast. I had a special of biscuits and sausage gravy with homefries and egg. The biscuits had not been warmed properly, and was on the edge of dry - not what i would expect on a saturday morning, this nicks a quarter star. The Homefries was deep fried potato pieces, this is to me a perkins type cheat, homefries should be done on a hot griddle for some extended time to create good crispy caramelization on at least one side, and you need to offer added onions - that ducked the other quarter star. Finally got to stop in here to see what the new owner had done and, wow. The place looks great, Courtney has THE perfect personality to make you feel welcome, and our lunch was awesome. Better than 5-star. I had their (dressed) cheeseburger, which was real, not preformed and cooked exactly as I had requested. I read the reviews and decided to take the elderly couple I take care of here for lunch. The reviews were right on. Amazing customer service (up over and beyond), food was amazing the dining experience over all was just wonderful. Not being from this area and just stopping in we felt VERY welcomed.
