Back on July 20th I called to make a reservation for my wedding rehearsal dinner on August 22. I was told that since it was a Friday they did not take reservations. Now I specifically called due to the fact we had two handicap people that required the limited lower tables available. I knew being a Friday in Wisconsin it would be a long stretch since fish fry’s make restaurants and bars quite busy. Which I was told since they couldn’t take a reservation, the best they could recommend was us showing up around 4:30-5 and if the tables were available they could push them together for us. Now skip to tonight for rehearsal dinner, my mom and sister got there early around 4:30pm to get the tables. They were available but they were told they couldn’t be seated until our whole party arrived and they could sit at the bar. My mom, could not physically sit at a bar stool and need the lower chair. They did get seated. The start of our dinner was great! Henry S. was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care to the best of his ability. The food was great as well! Here’s where my disappointment started. During our dinner we saw the hostess setting a table of nearly 15 chairs, yet there was no where near enough people waiting to fill that table. We continued to watch this table for nearly an hour and half as it sat empty while numerous people entered and waited for a table, and large groups even left to go elsewhere where. We then saw a large bachelorette party arrive for this table. Out of frustration, as we were told ā€œno reservations no matter whatā€, I went and talked to the hostess about how that table was reserved when Fridays there were no reservations. She stated that they were supposed to be here at 2pm but they had a mishap and couldn’t make it until later. I stated that sounds like a special circumstance that required a specific accommodation. I informed her that her customers do see what is going on, especially those of us that work in the service industry as well. She stated she would pass that information along. My point of this is that the food was great and Henry was amazing, but if you tell customers, that require specific handicap accommodations, that there are absolutely no reservations on Fridays, a table should not be held for nearly an hour and half for a bachelorette party that missed their...

Went in a few minutes ago...just before 5 CT on Feb 2nd. Seated ourselves and waited...and waited...and waited. Three couples and a larger party arrived 10 mins after us. They were seated, given menus and orders taken. We seated ourselves per the signs instructions. Still, we waited. I said "excuse me" to a gal stocking napkins, etc. at tables. She didn't hear me. I saw a server with tableware coming our way, but then she turned and went to the bar. I thought the gentleman behind the bar saw us, but I guess not. He took menus to one of the tables that came after us. They seated two of the Hubby used the restroom, returned, and we waited a little longer. I tried unsuccessfully to flag someone down. We waited 15 or 20 minutes. A server smiled at us as we left. Guess we will stop somewhere else on our drive to Stevens Point. I would give zero stars if I could. Maybe they don't like Yoopers or maybe they don't like veterans. I was wearing a pink Air Force Lady Veteran ball cap. Suggestion: watch as new customers come in and seat themselves or remove the sign and have waitstaff seat them. I know everyone is short staffed, but at least 3 people went to those tables while we...

UPDATED DONT COME HERR IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY I recently learned I'm allergic to soy. The waitress didn't know what was in anything or how it was cooked. Turns out they only use soybean oil for everything and don't even have a substitute on hand for things like this. Their dressings all have it too. I ended up ordering the "no frills" chicken breast sandwich, no bun (gluten free too, yay) and added some avocado (only gave me 3 small pieces). I was told they would clean their grill the best they could to get the soybean oil off. My body all night told me they either 1. Didn't clean it. 2. Did a poor job or 3. My body is more sensitive than I thought. It was horrible. To make it worse, they charged $12 for a very sorry piece of chicken. All alone on a plate. I won't be back unless they make some changes to how they cook their food.

Original: We came here last week for a family get together and loved it. The service was prompt, it was pretty quiet and everyone was happy to have multiple tv's to view football from. All the food was delicious, a grou favorite was the wings and their sweet potato waffle fries. I would definitely...

We have gone past this restaurant for many years, and never stopped. About a month ago, a fellow Sno Eagles Snowmobile Club member recommended this establishment to us. We had taken off on Tuesday, by snowmobile, for Sugar Camp, and the only small restaurant open there that day. After the Three Lakes trails all had listed the restaurant, unfortunately, the Sugar Camp trail signs dropped our establishment of interest. We were unfamiliar with area trails, hungry, were getting cold, and had no idea of how to get there. So, we headed a little further, to this bar and grill, and we were very pleasantly satisfied with it! The pretzel/cheese appetizer was, amazingly, the best that we had ever eaten. Each of our entries (Classic Burger, Gyro, and Bourbon Prime Rib Wrap) were delicious, along with the seasoned fries. The prices were much more reasonable than many other Northwoods establishments, and the outdoors environment was very pleasant to warm up in. We recommend this place, and will be back!!

Located on Hwy. 17 between Rhinelander and Sugar Camp this is easy to get to. Very cute newer log interior (noticed sign outside stating built in 1996) with log furniture, large bar, and TV's throughout so more of a sports bar feel but updated. It has a patio, but atmosphere lacks due to proximity to highway. Fare is typical grill fare but have been there several times without complaint. The Monday $3.50 Margaritas and 2 for $5 tacos way better than anticipated-loved the fried tortilla shells and they were quite large. There is a half rack ribs available under$10, can't remember if it was a Tues. or Thurs.

The food quality has definitely went down since we were here last. It's like the price goes way up, and the amount of food you get and quality goes way down!! I ordered a quesadilla, it came cold and the chips were stail. Also, if you go there with a young child bring your own highchair. They gave us a booster seat for a 2 yr old, sat us at a high boy table. Unfortunately she was wiggly and fell and hit her head. So then we just took our food and left! I'm also really sick of these credit card fees especially when I am using my debit card! So now I am being charged and taxed to use my money.
