Knead the Dough — Restaurant in Town of Porter

Went to KtD with my boyfriend for a phenomenal breakfast experience. We both got the Ransomville scramble and shared sweet potato pancakes. I would highly recommend both dishes to any passerby. Coffee was all you can drink which was nice. The server was sweet. The one thing I didn't care for was that we got snapped at about splitting a check at the end of the meal. After working in food service myself, splitting a bill in half isn't hard and the experience I had with the lady who rung us up left a sour taste in my mouth at the end of the meal. We had the strangest experience attempting to get a table for breakfast. We went to walk in but were told to go back outside and sign in. We wrote down 3 people on a yellow pad of paper. Standing outside the restaurant for 10 minutes before anyone looked at the sign in sheet. My wife went in and asked to use the restroom. After returning she said the place had many empty tables and 5 people waiting on tables so it didn't seem like there wasn't a place for us to eat. After 20 minutes we were finally going to led in but decided because it was cash only and being pretty frustrated at this point we told them we changed our mind and left. The food here was amazing the French toast was so big I couldn't believe how much I got for just 3 pieces and the breakfast was great too the hash browns were just perfect the bacon was nice and just crispy enough the eggs were smooth and buttery the crepes were the best though I'd even say the best I've ever had the berries and cream with cherry sauce on top was so good everyone else has always gotten one thing wrong but they nailed it not just the crepes but all the food and there service was very polite friendly and efficient a few times I didn't even realize they refilled my drink and always asked before taking plates overall I would go here all the time if I...
