Tim Hortons: Donut Disappointment

Let's just say my Tim Hortons experience was a bit like finding out the Canadian tuxedo wasn't actually a fashion statement. Craving a taste of Canadian goodness while on a business trip in upstate New York, I pulled into a Tim Hortons that was part of a gas station. Fueled by hype, I grabbed a donut...and then promptly wished I hadn't.

Maybe it was the gas station location, but these donuts were a far cry from the legendary treats I'd heard about. They were just...meh. Dare I say, Dunkin Donuts might have been a better bet (and that's coming from someone who usually avoids the whole donut chain scene).

Bottom Line: If you're looking for a life-changing donut experience, Tim Hortons might not be your Timbit of tea (see what I did there?). Maybe next time I'll stick to poutine for my...

Person Manning the cash register asked 4 times the size coffee. Out of soup I chose. 3 times to get size of soup I asked for. My son ordered a #5, served on a pretzel bagel. They were out of the bagel. Sandwich had been warmed but ingredients were ice cold. Bagel was good as were quality of ingredients. He received neither chips nor beverage, nor was asked if he wanted them. Was asked only if that were it. No receipt was given nor was he asked if he wanted one.. The pumpkin muffin was delightful! Tichina Tim Hortons I used to like it greatly but when I went back the second time in a long time they have all good people are now it's not like it used to be a bunch of losers they're pretty good now in the lady gave me a cup of coffee it was on her a manager believe it or not we held our Bible study there and we're going to go there again I don't know this month sometime so I'm just letting you know it's a good place that they would would have kept their real bread and some of the things they had their which I liked so I'm just letting you know it's a good place for coffee maybe it don't it the song just letting you know it's too bad it happened that way but nothing I could do have a nice day everybody God...
