Mia has become our new favorite take out pizza spot. I admit to having driven by a hundred times before trying it at a friend's house and falling in love. We have never dined in, but there are tables available if you choose to do so. The place is like a wonderful, nostalgic throwback to pizza places of my childhood in the '80s in the best way possible. Employees are always friendly when calling in with your order and at pick up. And the food!! This may be some of the best pizza I have ever had outside of NYC. At other places, I often order toppings because, well, the pizza itself is okay, but not always good enough to stand on its own. Not here, though! I often dream about their cheese pizza. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio for me. (I am not a fan of heavy sauce. Let me taste the cheese!) And the garlic knots - I could have eaten this order by myself. Not dry and hard like some places and not completely drenched in butter either. Again, just right. Their sauce - which comes with the knots - was so good I saved the rest to have with pasta the next day. It's just the right amount of sweet that I love. I highly, highly recommend stopping by. They are old school and don't have a website with a menu that I could find. But they have a range of options from subs to pizza to dinners.

Why did I not find this place sooner after being in Queensbury 5 years? Wasting all that time buying substandard pizzas was a huge screw up on my part. If you want genuine NY style pizza made with delicious ingredients, starting with the homemade crust, Mia's is a must! Their pies are huge! A small 6 cut pizza is the size of other shops large pizzas. Their toppings are fresh and plentiful. We also ordered a 12" meatball Parm sub, delicious roll and the sauce, meatballs and cheese were fantastic. All at prices others don't come close to. This is the real deal. The best pizza in the region, bar none!

I was hesitant to come in because of the way it looks on the outside BUT once I got inside it was very clean. The pizza is great, they aren’t cheap on the toppings (as you can see in the picture below) which is rare to find in a pizza shop. Also the sauce is somewhat sweet but not too sweet. Two thumbs way up, the reason I’m giving it four stars is due to the outside appearance and because it would be nice if they had a better variety of slices to purchase. Other than that, nice pizza place! Keep up the great work!

Where do I begin...this was my 1st time ordering from the pizzeria and I must say after waiting almost an hour which I was okay with bc I was told that would be the wait(not complaining about that) The delivery driver got a little turned around finding our home and dropped the bag of food BUT he was very friendly and we weren't upset so we still tipped $10 on a $29 order. I ordered a dozen wings, mozzarella sticks, and two slices of pizza. Let's start with the wings which were suppose to be mild wings were soooooooooooooooo greasy, dark and over cooked in the grease. Mind you I like my wings crispy. So over cooked I couldn't eat them as the grease was all I could taste, the pizza literally tasted like microwave pizza and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar or something lacking effort or an attempt to be pizza sauce, the mozzarella stick were the only thing we actually ate but also seemed to be a bit over cooked in grease. I tried to inform the establishment of the lackluster food that I was given and when I called about 10 mins after I received my food I was able to speak with the owner who informed me that bc of his "butter sauce" the wings came out greasy and that the oil was changed the day before so that isn't the issue. While I was assured the oil was changed as of yesterday, there was no way this grease was recently changed or filtered as all of the fried food was overly cooked and dark. I informed the owner this was my 1st time ordering from his restaurant and that the food was overly cooked and greasy to which he advised that next time to ask for him and he would provide me with a sampler of his sauces and that most customers request their wings extra crispy. While this was a kind gesture and he was definitely not rude, it did not remedy the immediate issue at hand and only continued to ensure that I would not be ordering from this...

I live less than 500 yards away from this establishment and my food was ice cold. I stopped in for the first time ever decided to give a try and the girl behind the counter does not even acknowledge me, I had to start the conversation for an order of food. Keep in mind I was the only patron at this establishment at this time, only me. The girl took my order and I agreed it was to go, she proceeds to ask if I need a box for the to go order. Obviously not going to carry it in my hands. Then the cook walks by me twice within arms reach and does not acknowledge me whatsoever. I’m a first time brand new paying customer and your not going to even acknowledge me. Then he proceeds to the back where he is loudly slamming a box of cheese repeatedly. I pay almost $7.00 for two slices of pepperoni pizza, I leave my change as tip and go home. Took me less than five minutes to get inside and sit. I find my food is literally refrigerator cold and mooshy. I refuse to be a Karen/bob and go give these people a hard time at their business and prefer to write my experience here online. If the owner/cook refuses to acknowledge me, the girl working fails to heat my food and charges me nearly the price of a full pizza for two slices then they do not deserve anyone’s purchase of food. With so many pizza joints in town go to anyone but this place. I did hear the pizza and it was still mooshy and gross. Will never return and will never recommend. To bad as I would have been a frequent...
