So, I stopped because I was thrilled to see they were open! Popped on my mask and headed for the ice cream window. Now, good sense kept telling me, "don't look around. Just grab a cone ( ended up with baby size because their small is big, their medium is huge and their large, well, you get it.) Anyway, I ignored my smarter self and turned instead to browse tables filled with flowering plants for my garden. Along the way back toward the ice cream I digressed yet again to browse through their Amish canned goods, their gumdrop and gummy worms, their non parreils and chocolate sponge, filling my arms as I moved along. Finally, arriving to the counter where I had deposited my plants before the candy detour, I proceeded to check out only to spot jugs of local maple syrup. A perfect fathers day gift ! After I paid for my armsful of items I headed to my car to deposit them and go back for my ice cream. All was going quite,well until I saw a woman with fresh corn and realized there was a stand of crisp fresh produce in front of the ice cream window. You can fill in the rest as you imagine the fresh salad fixings that got toted to the car before I finally got back for that baby cone of Hersheys ice cream. Bet you can't just pop in for one thing!
