I’m not sure how this place gets as high on review as it does. I ordered the chicken Alfredo for $23.99 with high hopes but the pasta was practically inedible, literally a solid mass of linguine, like it was mixed with the paste you used to use in elementary school. The chicken breast was decent. I was also served a small bowl of carrots on the side that were barely cooked and drizzled in a thin brown sauce (table next to us also complained to the server about this). My friend wasn’t very hungry and just ordered onion rings listed only as a side on the menu for $2.75 plus an $8 glass of wine. When we got the bill it was for $53 and change. My friend asked the waitress why she was charged $9 for the onions and $10 for the wine and her response was that the menu isn’t clear and she was confused as well by it, but the onion rings (approximately 6 on the plate)are actually $8.99 IF they aren’t ordered with a meal. Again this is listed nowhere on the menu and they were not listed under appetizers or anywhere else on the menu. The bartender also came to the table to argue the price of the glass of wine as she apparently gave us the wrong wine. It was just a souring experience all-together. Overpriced, underwhelming, and it really felt as if the bait and switch on the menu was a regular practice. Go somewhere else, there is far better...
Read moreYou know the food is good when the tables and bar are packed, and it was! Unfortunately, they had only two servers working the 14 tables. We saw one table leave after being seated for some time with no drinks. I watched the bartender and (I'm assuming) cook from the back gab with a table that was leaving for quite a while, despite my trying to catch their eye, because the salad bar that was promised to be refreshed over 15 min ago still sat with no salad plates or lettuce. I was getting worried our meals would arrive before I had a chance to get my salad. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry, the salad bar did indeed eventually get refreshed, and the meals running late ended up giving us enough time to enjoy our salads after all. We witnessed another table request their meals to go since they took so long. The food was really good, though, so I probably would go back... just not...
Read moreLittle restaurant on the Seneca wine trail. Great food, good portions and our server was very attentive. Breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were tasty. It was prime rib night and wow! It was huge! Cooked to medium rare as ordered and was very good. The au jus that came with it added the perfect amount of saltiness. My husband loved his chicken parm - 1/2 inch thick breaded chicken breast with yummy melted mozzarella on top served over spaghetti. He was full about 3/4 through his meal but liked it so much he finished it! Meals came with a salad and a side. We'd definitely visit again! Of note is that they don't take...
