Meister's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Richmond

This has been one of my favorite places to eat for the better part of my 37 years. I've eaten here with my family, friends and learned a lot of good values and work ethic from both Dave and Angie. I'm proud to have come from such a good background and establishment. Meister's Bar and Grill has been a big part of my life. I recommend any one for any reason to stop into Meister's. Bring your family. Bring your friends. My absolute favorite thing about Meister's is the fish fry. I've yet to find another restaurant that comes close to the kind of fish fry Meister's has. Okay, meisters, I know the name, I know they make good food especially burgers, but I'm a bit disappointed. Ordered the "Famous Meister burger", the bartender served our table and he was a super nice guy and did a great job. The garlic pepper fries were really good, but not all that garlicky. The burger.. was it a frozen patty? The bun, the bacon, the onions the cheese all great, but the meat? Was it a pre frozen patty? It was very frozen-ish and flat, and even hard on the edges here and there. For $14, it was pretty lame, not even a decent bar burger patty. Don't skimp on...

Always a good idea to visit Meisters'. Locally owned by a friendly family who truly treat you like one of their own. A light, casual atmosphere and knowledgeable staff really set this place above and beyond my expectations of a local bar/restaurant. Also a great place to bring your family as they have a zero tolerance for "unsavory attitudes", belligerence, and rowdy behavior. Everyone there was respectful, classy, and in good spirit.
