Louies Landing Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Round Lake

This place is incredible. We're here on vacation from Arizona and Louie's landing reminded me of a place right out of a movie with the Lakeshore atmosphere. You can park your boat or easily drive and park at this establishment. Have eaten there three times now in a 2-day period as the menu is quite good and everything we have had so far was delicious! We flew in the morning of the 4th of July and this is where we went for the fireworks show. This was one of the best fireworks displays I have seen in 46 years of living. The atmosphere was incredible. One of the few times I have been to a celebration for Independence Day where I actually felt a great sense of pride and very American. One of the most memorable nights I've had. If you live here in Wisconsin around the moose lake area and you have not been here yet, you definitely need to go check it out! After a hike around Moose Lake, 25 members of Women of Woods and Water (WoWW) had lunch at Louie's Landing. Bruce, the owner, seated all of us in the cozy and inviting side room which he had prepared in advance. For lunch, we had the choice of either soup and salad or soup, salad, and burger. Our salads were fresh and delicious with a large variety of vegetables. The soups were warm and full of flavor. The signature Louie's burger was mouthwatering. Bruce served us in a timely manner and exceeded our expectations. Many WoWW hikers stated that they would come back to Louie's with their families.

I have a cabin on Moose Lake and I eat there a lot. They have a professional cook who makes the best food around, at a reasonable price. I would consider it a working man bar atmosphere with friendly patrons and staff. You can bring your kids there as they have a pool table, video games and a jukebox. You can always talk to someone about how and where the fish are biting. They have 3 kinds of tap beer and several brands of bottled beer plus Jack the owner makes a Muskie of a drink too.
