Red Moon Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Town of Rubicon

Unfortunately this bar has had approx 8 or 9 different owners in last 10 yrs, but when found out Mexican food was being served, I have to give a try, 1st time there on there 2nd week of being open and alot of times this is a service challenge cuz you never know how many customers will be coming to check you out, from my experience at other venues service and long wait for food was experienced, however this place was not like that , waitstaff was polite and not only asked how everything was but asked if we thought she could improve in her service to us in any areas of are visit, which really showed me they want to be top notch and the food was excellent and good portions, which nowadays cuz of inflation have notice food portions shrinking but not here, also great menu varieties not strictly Mexican and also more reasonably priced than most similar type establishments. Menu choices kinda reminded me of mineshaft food varieties, have been back 3 more times with different friends and family and never once had an issue and every one loved the food, I think this bar finally found a winner and I suggest supporting them , cuz where we live its not often you can drive 5 minutes away and get great food and service and be home 5 minutes...

The bar and restaurant are very nice and food and drinks are excellent! My only beef is the micromania midget wrestling that was held here was very poorly handled. Had to go in through the main entrance where it was over crowded instead of the additional side entrance, had to wait in line for a 10 minutes after the doors opened for the event , the guy checking the tickets was rude, general admission tickets didn't include seats for some reason ( when frozen tundra wrestling came it was always smootly run and everyone got a seat) . Show was printed at 7 pm to 10 pm and didnt start til 830 ...lots of filler playing music. The whole event felt unsafe because of overcrowding. Micromania unfortunately was a waste of money...felt like a carny money grab. I enjoyed the customers around me and the staff at the bar areas . The lady at the bar in the event area is a saint she was running the bar by herself! Kudos to her for sure 😊 if you guys do an event there again make sure it's way more organized! I WON’T BE BACK.. the wait for food was unbelievable- an hour and 20 minutes- and yet we’re still here and don’t have our food- and yet other people ( obviously related) came in after us- sat down and have their food.. never coming back..finally get our food @ 7:05- ( ordered at 5:40.. ) and just asked to have it “take out- checked in the car- IT’S COLD!! I hope the health inspector shuts this place down!! Waitresses shouldn’t be having to make the alcoholic drinks besides waiting tables..but what pushed me over the edge was that so many people came AFTER us and got their food...
