RUSH CREEKSIDE INN — Restaurant in Town of Rush

Went with a large group. Separate checks were requested. Ours was wrong by $50.00 +.. Only two people in our party yet 5 meals are on my bill.. Tried to get the servers attention but she walked off... We went to the bar and explained that the bill was wrong. Her response was an exasperated "I'll have to re-do everyone's bill then"... Well, that wont work because half the group already left and were left holding the bag for her mistake. We don't know if the some other bill was short and I'm not calling all of them to find out to seek refunds from family. This was one of the worst customer service treatments Ive ever had. (by the way, she forgot our order and had to re take it after everyone else was served. So, we got to eat alone and get stuck with the bill) We didn't make a scene as it was a holiday gathering for the family and I didn't want to spoil it. Creekside needs to refund me for the food I didn't eat or order. I should not responsible tor their inability to manage...

Stopped in randomly for lunch and a few beverages today with some friends. Owner was on site and an absolute pleasure to meet and chat with briefly, making us feel welcome and invited as soon as we walked in the door. Menu was easy to understand and had plenty to offer without being overbearing. Food tasted amazing and portions were good sized. Service was prompt and friendly. Drink selection was great, beer was cold, and prices were extremely fair. Locals were polite and in good spirits. One thing that really stuck out to me was how impeccably clean and organized this place was. You can tell that the owners and staff really take pride in this establishment. Our portions were generous and the food was tasty. The menu wasn't overwhelming with choices. The Lobster Bisque was piping hot and flavorful. It would have been nice to have a secondary soup option that was not shellfish, as my hubby is allergic and the only other option was Clam Chowder.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and Lindsay was the only bartender/server in the building. She ran around nonstop doing her best to attend to everyone in the bar area and the dining room. We give her 5-stars for effort, even though we had to wait to be served and did not any refills on iced tea.

We would give this another try and do hope they are able to find more help...
