Fibbers Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Saint Germain

Classic Northwoods restaurant with the bar and lots of noise. But food was very good classic Northwoods fish fry I had the walleye and my sister had cod. Baked potato for me and she had twice baked potato and the others had french fries If you looking for a solid Northwoods fish fry they did a really nice job. Our waitress was hustling and bustling she was on top of everything. Of course just note that the place is very loud loud loud loud loud because it's a bar atmosphere. Nice thing is there's no smoking and everything was very nostalgic down to the skull mounts musky mounts and the vinyl table

2025 Well we return for another fish fry. First of all we had an outstanding waitress My mother had an accident with her water which ended up all over the floor and she was so awesome how quick she was cleaning it up just making light of it she was fantastic So we give our waitress a high five As far as the fish fry I'm not really caring for it that much I know everybody likes it but it's just filled with so much breading and although you get very very big pieces I find it just not flavorful and there's really no seasoning My sister liked her fish But I have to decline I would not return for this fish fry. Everybody has different taste buds but it's just too bland for me and way too much breading Like over the top too much The portions are quite large but man But so much of it is deep fried breading This time my sister got to take with her some broiled fish as my niece had some When my sister tried the broiled fish she said she didn't like it because again there it lacked flavor Put the portions were very big So I guess it's a horse of Peace you're going to have to decide for yourself I would not return for the fish fry That's just me personally But Hi-Fi to the staff they do an...

We ordered today at 5:30pm after being asked to call back when I called right at open (4pm) and they asked us to call back at 5:30pm. Took an order for 12 people, said it would be ready at 6:15pm. We drive 30 mins to go pick it up and when we get here they insist they never took the order and they were super rude. Eventually after talking to the kitchen, they admit they canceled the order and never let us know or called us back. I understand it is busy, been a FIB in the Northwoods for 40 years. I get how it goes. But don’t say you are going to do something and then not do do it and leave us hanging with 12 people. Also, don’t be a jerk when we try to come pick it up. There are a lot of great places in the Northwoods and I hope that would will join me in choosing somewhere else. I don’t care how good your food is don’t treat...

We were on vacation in Eagle River when we drove to this beautiful area ! We were looking for a place to have dinner so we went in . This is a Diamond hidden in back woods! The staff were all busy helping customers with being seated ,cleaning tables , helping each other ! But our waitress Debbie was the best !!she was running for everyone and always had a smile . I had the Tuesday night shrimp special and my hubby had the fried chicken . He got so much chicken he took a piece home. The food was excellent , I also had a piece of their homemade blueberry pie!!
