We came to Pulaski for a fishing trip and came across huckleberry Cafe. We decided to try it out and the reviews were god. We sat down got drinks and the waitress was very friendly and had very good service. We ordered the nachos with award winning chili and was very good, with lots of different ingredients expanding the great tasting flavors. Jake order the special, smoked Ruben with pineapple coslaw, this happened to be a house favorite. Big mama ordered the bucket of bones with the Mac and cheese and beans and their wasn't a crumb left. Brian also ordered the bucket of bones, even though he loved it he was unable to finish the amount of food the was presented.Matt ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and again even though it was a super flavourful sandwich it was to big for Matt to finish. And the waitress was very friendly and always on the ball with her customers and never forgot to have a smile on her face while taking orders. They had an excellent variety of desserts including black berry pie, blueberry pie, peach pie, coconut cream pie, banana cream pie, apple pie, and carrot cake. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and would recommend coming...

Won't be coming here again. I ordered take out for my husband and myself and when I arrived to pick it up, I was checking out the pies they had. I asked to purchase a huckleberry pie and was told I could only buy in slices unless I give 24 hours notice because it cuts into their single slice sales. I explained that I didn't know about their 24 hour policy and I wasn't even planning on getting a pie until I walked in. They said I could come back tomorrow for a pie. I explained that my husband is going out of the country tomorrow. I was asked if he was in the service, which I responded yes. After that my food was brought out, I paid and tipped for our take out. It might not mean much to you that I was denied buying a whole pie but ya know it would have been nice to bring home to my husband who's leaving. Making a one time exception to customers not knowing of your policy would have made a better impression than turning me away. Hope the extra money you get for selling by the slice makes up for the loss of our business. We just moved here and bought a house and this was a convenient place for us to have food - which we eat out probably...

I decided to go here for breakfast after seeing the good reviews. The food was horrible. Eggs and omelettes are a simple and common breakfast food. I would guess that the cook was new and inexperienced because it took multiple attempts to make an over easy egg. The omelette was like a dry sponge with chunks of ham (dry hunk of scrambled eggs) My toast had a massive amount of unmelted butter on it. I moved my coffee cup to the end of the table so that the waitress knew I was ready for more, however she didn't seem to notice or offer me more. I paid $25 for breakfast for 2 people - both plates were barely touched and the only thing we did enjoy was the $1.99 fruit cup. Waste of money. The waitress did not offer to even give a discount or an apology. Unfortunate because it is a cute clean place and the desserts did look good but my experience was so bad that i really just wanted to get the heck...

We stopped at the Huckleberry Cafe as we were passing through the area, and had a wonderful experience. The service was phenomenal, and the food was awesome with very generous portions. I got the bag of bones dinner, which was way more than I could eat, but was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken drumsticks were crispy and so flavorful. My partner got the chicken breast dinner, which had a delicious marinade and again was more food than he could finish. The baked goods looked amazing, we took some chocolate cake to go. The unsweetened iced tea was refreshing. The bathroom was very clean, and we were seated quickly. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I look forward to going here again the next time we are in the area!

We stopped at the Huckleberry Cafe while traveling through the area. It's a cozy little homestyle diner. Waitress was friendly and the food was good overall, my wife had the Huckleberry salad and it was on point, kids liked the chicken tenders, I had the seafood combo, the haddock, shrimp, and scallops were all good but the fried clam strips unfortunately were not, the breading was too thick and undercooked. Also the bathroom could use a good cleaning. Overall still an enjoyable place to eat, would stop in again to try their breakfast
