Farmer’s Daughters’ Drive In — Restaurant in Town of Saratoga

My husband, sister, neice and myself visited this evening (5/8/18). Admittedly we arrived at 8:45 pm, when our turn came we knew what we wanted and placed our order. Our total came to $13.91, we gave the lady $23.91 she handed back everything but the $20 bill and said we gave her too much money. After nicely handing back the original bills and change we explained that we would like a $10 in change please, she called another staff member to help.

When our ice creams came up the first two were correct a kiddie size orange cream for me and a kiddie size rainbow sherbert for my neice. When the other two orders came out they were both incorrect. The regular vanilla with rainbow sprinkles for my husband was a kiddie sized, and when he asked why they said oh we just gave you all a little extra. Even if that was the case he ordered a different size it shouldnt have been exactly the same as ours. They complained but did fix that. My sister ordered a kiddie sized vanilla chocolate twist with sprinkles. When hers came out it was chocolate ice cream. It was so rich that she only ate half.

By the time we got home my husband was also not feeling well (we live 5 minutes away). For the fact that we got about 4 ounces of ice cream each for the kiddie and 6 ounces for the regular finally, the prices are outrageous, the place is dirty and the staff is useless and gives nothing but attitude. If I could give negative stars I would.

We will not be back. Frankly the only reason we went there is because they're the only place close-by. Still...

I'm sad to say my husband and I did not have a great experience today. We have been there many times and have always had a good experience. I used to go when I was younger with my family..always great. Today, although the food was ok, it wasn't worth the $32+ dollars we paid. I ordered chicken fingers and fries and the fries were pretty hard. I could break a window with them. I was given tarter sauce instead of bleu cheese and when I asked for bleu cheese it was slid across the counter to me. My husband's burger was falling apart and had to finish it with a fork, just a mess. I used the rest room, (which the ladies room was closed) it was horrendous! Toilet paper on the floor, water all over the floor, just plain filthy. Also tables inside were not clean. It truly was a disappointing experience. Don't think we'll be back which is very sad to us because we have gone...

Stopped in yesterday for our first visit of the season a likely will not return. We’ve been repeat customers for the last 4 years since moving up here and yesterday’s service was bad enough that it offset the prior years of experience. First, pricing posted on the building signage differed than the website by a few dollars which was disappointing but this early in the season relatively understandable because they may not be done updating yet. The biggest blow was the service. We were helped by two young staff members - likely high school aged - and were given a major attitude when ordering. They made judgmental faces when we said the first item we wanted then when we said we wanted a second item, it was met with an eye roll and scoff sound.
