Getaway Bar N Grill — Restaurant in Town of Sarona

The Getaway has been one of our favorite places for several years now. I recently had a surprise party there for my husband, and once again, everything was perfect. We took over the back/private dining room and had 30 guests. Linda and George (the owners) were so accommodating! We were able to get in early, before the bar even opened, to decorate. We were allowed to use the walk in cooler to refrigerate our cakes. Linda actually helped with getting my husband to the back room without any suspicion! She made sure drinks were flowing all evening and no one had to wait. George had cooked up a great variety of hot appetizers that everyone loved. I have no idea how they managed it, but when it came time, Kristina our server, took all our dinner orders at once and the food for all 30 of us came out timely, all at once and at the perfect temperature. We had everything from wraps to shrimp and ribs. I made the rounds and asked everyone how their food was, and not one person said they were disappointed. The phrase I heard over and over again was "My food was excellent!" Great food, service and atmosphere .... You get it all at the Getaway Bar N Grill!!! Thank you Linda...

Stopped by on a long trip home. needed some food and a break. Beer = good. Food = great. People = outstanding. It’s definitely a bit towny but in the best way. Everyone knew each other here. Everyone was super friendly. Sunrise burger was a bomb combination of egg cheese bacon burger. Bartender was busy and still came out to serve me at a table right away. The getaway is a great place to go and get some really great food and meet some really great people. Linda and George are awesome hosts. George does a fabulous job of cooking. They have a great menu with some specials that are above and beyond good. Weekends here can be very busy but that's a testament to the food quality and the location.
