Sawdust City Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Saxeville

First time we have stopped there. There was a meat raffle happening which interested us. Bartenders were busy, but not very friendly. When I ordered drinks and asked about the raffle I got very minimal information. Had to ask if I could buy tickets. The cook was the friendliest person we interacted with. The food was better than average. Several people complained about not being able to hear the numbers drawn for the raffle, but they didn’t try to address the issue. They could have shut off or at least turned down the jute box when calling out the numbers. Not sure but we will probably give them another try...

The seats at bar were nearly filled when i got there on Monday afternoon, nearly 5pm. Absolutely a locals bar with long white beards and also seems popular with bikers. The half nachos was eatable, it included all the ingredients advertised but just sorta tossed into a folded paper bowl. Not great, but not bad. I would not order it again. Best place in the area to get food from. Their competition flat out sucks in my opinion. Some of the prices are a little steep but they can get away with it because of their food being the best around. I can only recall one time not being satisfied with the food but they made it right with me. I’d highly recommend...
