This little gem of a diner was a pleasure to visit!! We headed over the mountain from The Berkshires in Massachusetts. We heard about it from some friends who live locally that eat here on the week to week basis for all different kinds of meals. We decided to journey over for dinner and meet up with some friends at the diner. The staff was very cordial upon our group entering the diner and seated our party at a nice table and gave us some menus. These large menus have something for everyone for real... and bonus you can order anything in there anytime you want to eat it... so yes that means breakfast for dinner!! Our group had a very friendly waitress named Hannah who brought the two year old a coloring book and crayons upon taking our drink and appetizer orders. We ordered a bunch of different items and the generous sized portions were fresh an hot, served up quickly right from the kitchen. Our waitress was on top of the drink refills and replenished them before we could even ask for them... everyone was very happy with the variety of foods that we ordered. The turkey burger was juicy and delicious with crispy french fires and fresh cut tomatoes and lettuce with mayonnaise. The triple turkey bacon lettuce tomato sandwich on toasted rye with mayonnaise was perfectly done with crispy french fries as well. The lasagna dish was overflowing with sauce, cheese, and layers upon layers of cheese, meats and ingredients with a side salad was huge, leftovers were taken home. The spaghetti, sausage, cheese, and sauce was a huge portion that also came with a salad was quite good and very filling. The two year old enjoyed scrambled eggs, a juicy plump sausage, and a huge mickey mouse shaped pancake with generous helping of butter and syrup. Another member of our group got a chicken Caesar salad with bacon and dressing which was gigantic and had plentiful servings of chicken. Hannah was lovely and friendly throughout the entire dining experience. The ambiance of the diner was very nice and clean and pretty spacious there was another side of the diner was being occupied by a huge group having a gathering. The patrons enjoying their dinners seemed to be all chatting happily and eating their food, the pace from seating til food til departure is pretty quick!! I highly recommend this diner for breakfast, lunch or dinner... the staff is friendly and it is a great place to meet friends to have any of the meals of the day or just some coffee and/ or dessert. As you come in the door there is an entire cabinet full of freshly made cakes, pies, and all kinds of dessert creations to make your mouth water in anticipation of dessert.

I liked it and I would stop in there again. It seems to be a local favorite too. It's a quaint dinner short walk from an ultra fast EV charger near the interstate. There are 17 booths and tables for 4 and barstools at the counter. Chelsea was our server. Super friendly, informative and thoughtful, even during a busy and short-staffed day. The menu is very diversified, with options for everyone. The panini Ruben, the steak and lobster and the quesadillas were recommended. The kids had a vanilla and strawberry milkshake that looked delicious; they disappeared quickly. I had an iced tea, with half sweet and half unsweetened. The Pepsi was out and Chelsea fixed it right away, bring a fresh drink to the table. We ordered a Ruben panini, a steak panini, a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with macaroni salad, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Prices were fair and portions were generous. The steak panini was a little tough, but the bread was good. The potato wedges/ fries were tasty, the macaroni salad was good but could use a little sweetness. The coleslaw is really good. It was tasty, well seasoned and juicy. We shared a coconut cream pie piece for dessert. It was good but overpriced for a small piece. They have a ramp at the side for wheelchair accessibility but you have to request access. The restrooms are clean, well lit and well equipped. There is a simple kids menu, and boaster seats and highchairs available for young customers.

I stopped in for a light breakfast this morning. I had a scheduled telehealth visit with a doctor so I let the waitress know it would be about 15 minutes before I ordered. She was very accommodating and brought me my hot coffee and cold glass of water pronto! About half way into my call she came by, refilled my coffee and dropped off a menu. I didn't want a huge breakfast and I'm fussy when it comes to home fries. I don't like soggy or mushy potatoes and asked her if I could get them " well done". She offered the well done option along with the option to deep fry them, which I selected. They were absolutely perfect! Crispy outside, fluffy and tasty inside and not one bit greasy. The home fries, poached eggs, rye toast and side of fresh strawberries was a perfect breakfast. I would definitely recommend this diner and if you have younger children who don't like home fries, ask to get them deep fried. They look and taste like perfectly cooked french fies👍☀️😊

So, very average diner, food was ok but a bit pricey, 2 eggs, English muffin, and fried potatoes with a medium OJ, and coffee, came to about 13 bucks plus tip, and I tipped well since the girl was working very hard cleaning up after her coworkers. 3 is an average score...

I gave it a 2 because of the wait staff in general. See I walked in the door and the woman at the register says "Be with you in a minute hun" and so I waited patiently. She then walks away and disappears... 4 or 5 minutes later 4 people walk in, and this other waitress looks at them and says "4?" Completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. They said "yes" and she took them to be seated, a few seconds later another waitress comes over, must have seen the massive eye roll, and asks if I'm waiting to be seated, I told her I was and I just wanted to sit at the bar. So she shows me to the bar and gives me a menu, she disappears.... 10 minutes later another waitress comes over and asks if I've been helped yet, I said no, she asks if I even have silverware, I said no. She apologized and the rest of the experience went as it should, she was awesome, blond woman with fantastic body art.

Now this waitress I left a good tip for because every diner has its accidents understandably... they forget a fork, or creamer, forget a drink, whatever, but it's usually few and far between. Typically to the patrons it happens once every few visits, so most of the time you don't notice, but if you sit here and listen, it happens to almost every table... sometimes it was multiple things... the diner was maybe 1/4 full, if that, its wasn't real busy, most of the staff were standing around. No it was just simply staff not paying attention and this poor waitress that was serving me seemed to be running around behind all of the other waitresses picking up after them. They go to a table, disappear or start chatting, and my waitress busted her chops to see that the customers were taken care of including me.

Anyway that's it... thats my gossip, food was meh, prices were a bit high, waitresses were too busy chit chatting, save 1... would I go back? Sure, it wasn't horrible, I just feel that if I'm paying for a service, especially 13 bucks for eggs, toast, and a potato, then that service should be completed with the idea that the customers come first, and they are treated fairly,...

My husband and I stopped here after a long country ride. We got seated almost immediately and order within a couple of minutes. I ordered the chopped steak medium well with mashed and the mixed veggies. Hubby ordered broiled pork chops, baked potato and the mixed veggies as well. We got our salad and soup. The salad was wonderful! The waitress put a basket of bread down and I saw green...I told her the bread was moldy and she replied, "I just noticed that." She took that basket and came back with another. That bread was soft, fresh and warm. Out comes the dinners. I was starving and it sure looked good. I cut into my chopped steak and it was crumbly. There was no juice in it whatsoever. They put a minute amount of Aus Jus on it as, there were only traces of it on my plate. I dipped my piece of meat in the Aus Jus that I saw and all I could say was, "this has no flavor!" I go to eat my veggies and it was broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I love that type of veggie. Well, the carrot was extremely hard. The broccoli and cauliflower were cooked fine. However, the veggies were bland also. Even the mashed potatoes, although having little flavor were mostly bland. I had to ask for a monkey dish of Aus Jus as, I couldn't swallow my chopped steak as, it was so dry. Even with the Aus Jus it was still dry. Hubby's meal served 2 very thin pork chops. Not restaurant style at all. He said they tasted ok and his baked potato was fine. The veggies came with the same complaint I had...They were bland and the carrots were extremely under cooked. Sorry, but I will never go back here. I think they need to hire a new chef that knows how to season things and cook. It's pretty sad that I had to say the best part of my dinner was the salad. Just not right at all. Waitress was a good server though or this post may have said, I wouldn't even...
