Location, Location, location. It's a great little summer snack spot by a quiet lake. Having been cooped up in the house the last few days I went looking for something to eat outdoors and found this place. Sitting outside to enjoy a hot dog, french fries and a cold drink on a summer day by a lake is fine with me. Grilled Hot dog on a roll with saukraut was my entree complete with a side of "poutine". The poutine is not traditional which typically has cheese curds and brown gravy, they use a melted style cheese sauce and the brown gravy. It was different than expected, but hey, it's fries and cheese.. no complaints. The side of macaroni salad was a nice added bonus. It had diced onion, green peppers, carrots and mayonnaise. Nice heaping portion too. Certainly homemade and fresh. Like I mentioned, it's a great chill lakeside place for a snack style meal, if that is what you are looking for, you are going to be very happy.

We decided to check this place on our way back from the near by bike trail. Food was far beyond our expectations and the effort put in reopening this place didn't go unnoticed either. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a seasonal greasy spoon overlooking Nassau Lake. While the view from the deck is pleasant, it fails to offset the mediocre tasting food.
