This review is for 06/10/25. Me and my husband were craving our favorite breakfast and for old-time sake, we drove from Syracuse to here and left disappointed. We ordered our regular dish Philly steak omelet and my husband ordered another omelet that was supposed to have no sausage in it. We both got the same thing sausage Philly. My husband asked our waitress we ordered Philly and this looked like a sausage omelet he asked her to please make sure it had no pork in it too because sausage does have pork the waitress went and came back saying yes it has pork in it so I said I ordered Philly steak omelet She said it's mixed Philly steak and sausage and offered to take it back but because I love this place I just didn't want to give her trouble so I said If it's mixed with a little sausage I will just separate it and eat the rest. Guess what I was searching for the steak in my omelet and I didn't find any. All was filled with sausage no Philly steak. And when I told my husband I should've listened to him and sent this dish back he asked the waitress again this time it was another woman she said yes this was a Philly steak omelet and that my husband had the same thing while we both ordered 2 different omelets.🤦♀️ So I kindly said we ate Philly steak omelet here before we knew what sausage or Philly steak looks like. She said will the cook must have cooked your Philly steak well-done before, this time it was not cooked well-done, so the color is white and not golden brown. 🤷♀️ if we want this kind of service there is plenty of places close by we might give it another try but I hope it's not going to be disappointing because then we would not recommend or return here again.
Me and my husband drive 45 minutes every chance we get to have breakfast here. The hash brown and Philly steak omelet is out of this world the atmosphere here is so pleasant that I feel I'm back to the times when we didn't have to worry about anything but to enjoy life....the guys and girls working here are awesome. I do know how to describe it....you have to be there to understand it so I recommend it to anyone and everyone....... The price we paid for 2 orders for 2 people was $80 including 2 cups of coffee 2 omelets loaded with Philly steak 1 home fries 1 hashbrowns 2 pancakes and you got French toast or plain toast with...
Read moreAppalling. I’ve been searching for a decent place to have breakfast in central New York for the past 6 years, and have come to the conclusion that they just don’t know how to do breakfast here.
Firstly, I can’t believe these reviews. They are ridiculous. The food here is terrible. Typical central New York diner wagon-wheel pancakes. I want to meet the person who could eat two of them. They are massive, and generic, coupled with a butter substance. The syrup goo was in a condiment squeeze bottle, and had a hint of sweetness, with subtle notes of plastic and propylene glycol.
The bacon was burned in places, raw in others. I ordered a coke with my meal, and they brought a can and a cup of ice, which is fine. Charging $2.50 for it? No. Lol.
The water tastes of chlorine, the potatoes O’Brien were gigantic, burnt, just bad.
The server was rude. She didn’t want to be there. I understand her pain.
This is a local spot in phoenix with local people. They obviously don’t go there for the food, which is ok too. I’m sure it’s busy because it’s the only diner for 10 miles.
If you’re in search of a decent breakfast like me, skip this place altogether. Waste of...
Read moreI went here for the first time this morning and ordered a western omelet with cheddar cheese instead of American. The cook made a mistake and put American cheese in it. Instead of making a new one the cook opened the omelet back up and tried picking melted American cheese off the inside and covering it up with cheddar cheese. While doing this the omelet got cold so the cheddar cheese didn't melt. Long story short I got a cold meal not what i wanted, picked through, with cold cheddar cheese in it, so i can't comment on the quality of the food since i didn't get to eat breakfast. They did take it off the bill but that's besides the point. For them to think that was OK is mind boggling. I won't be going back. I should have been told when it was delivered to the table and offered a new one then, not when we were asking for our check. Instead you tried to hide it and hope I...
