I enjoyed the Friday fish fry for only $9.99. Good sized filet, breaded and fried. Not sure if it was haddock, but it was tasty and crispy. Fries were excellent and the perfect amount. I didn't have to feel bad about leaving some or forcing myself to finish them. I can't comment about the Cole slaw because they forgot to give it to me. From the looks of what others had it looked slightly underdressed.
Next time I go I will order the Declan "burger." It looks fantastic. I think it's big enough to share. The 2 men that ordered it ate about half of it. It's basically a steak burger with onion straws and mushrooms. Not sure about cheese or sauce on it, but man it looked soooo good. Oh, and it was only 11.99.
I went to watch basketball with a group of friends and the atmosphere in the bar section was very good. It's fairly small but 3 tvs showed 3 different games. Quiet enough for all of us to hear each other too. Waitress was very attentive and fast. Looks like there is a back dining room with much more space for families. I noticed a stage for musical acts as well. Seems like a nice place to go listen to live music when that's...

Food was alright, I had a buffalo chicken wrap and my fiancee had a chicken Parm sandwich. Buff wrap did not come with Blue cheese so I had to ask for blue cheese. Even the bartender was surprised it didn't come with it in the wrap. Fiancees Parm sandwich was nice and crispy. I was surprised at the variety of food they had on the menu considering the place seemed more like a bar.
We ordered some loaded fries as an appetizer. They didn't come with plates which is probably fine for most. We asked for plates and we were given some stained and scratched up plates. We decided against putting our food on those plates. I don't doubt the plates were washed but if I were them I wouldn't have let them get used. Thankfully the plates the rest of our food came out on were much...
Read moreMy friends and I ventured out of our normal routine out of desperation. We typically go to a local restaurant for clams and seafood, but on this day they were closed. We did a Facebook post and someone mentioned Monirae’s. We looked up the menu and realized they had everything we wanted but were not local. We decided to drive 25 mins anyway because the Wednesday seafood menu looked amazing. I’m so glad we did! The food was great, the regulars were welcoming and the staff was the best we’ve had! I will make that 25 minute trip, without hesitation, moving forward! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new favorite place that really felt like home. Thank you Monirae’s!!!...
