The owner/ man, that I think runs the place, is always nice to us. When we have seen him here he is quick to make eye contact, let us know he is there if we need anything and he will ask us how itās going. That is what makes it a place we like to come, also that they support local places, egg are from near by and the omelets and food is the best within 30 miles any direction MINUS THE BACON⦠no one likes bacon like that. (Photo) but my standards are high being a traveler that just so happens to live here, NY people donāt have hospitality like anywhere, but some of the ladies here arenāt good service š„“ sorry
They are back open and fully functioning inside, itās locally owned and you are supporting the people around here⦠always a bonus. I love the wall decorations, it looks really nice. The tables have been my favorite and I love that they are from someone local.
They do have GF bread! Thank you.
I like the place, the service is typical Ny service and not great, before the fire I had a couple times the service was friendly but couple these ladies have no service skills, please donāt ever assume change it yours and drop the grouchy lady act. Thatās not why I eat out rather than just cooking at home. Hope this helps. š
I wish they had milkshakes, but they are kind of a pain so I donāt expect it. But Iād buy one every-time if you had one.
Iād recommend eating and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe really did have high hopes for this place. Starting off, walking in it is a beautiful little place with lots of seating decorated nicely. The service was good, we ordered fast and drinks came out quick. I ordered a diet which tasted awful and after looking at the can it expired 7 months ago (Sept 2024). My boyfriend ordered a sweet tea which wasnāt good, he actually had to taste my sonās apple juice to make sure the drinks werenāt mixed up. The food took longer than we expected to come out being as there was only one other family there besides us. I ordered a burger that was insanely greasy, although the patty was seasoned well. It definitely wasnāt worth the $18 it cost imo. The DCG plate was okay although it wasnāt as good as the reviews claimed. When the bill came, the total was $50.06, but when they brought the card and signature copy back, the bill had went up to $52.06 and there were fees that didnāt make sense such as an āunauthorized feeā for $2. Each copy of the bill said a different amount. We were so disappointed by the experience that we just paid and left. Unfortunately that was our first and definitely last time dining here. Sad to us because it is close to home and we really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I stopped at Dugan's yesterday to grab a quick bite before we needed to head out for home -- I was starving and wasn't sure what to expect, but the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. The food was AMAZING! The place was a little quiet (which was perfect for us, honestly), being earlier on a Monday, but the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer and WOW, they were sooooo good! I'm mad we don't live closer or this would be a staple in my random cravings diet, haha. Highly suggest ordering it with a side of sour cream for the ultimate tot experience. I also ordered the crispy buffalo chicken quesadilla and being from Buffalo, it was honestly just as good as the one from Duff's! If we're ever back in the area, I will definitely be stopping by again. But such a great experience there -- can't say enough about the staff (who were friendly, attentive, and very kind), and the food, which was exactly what we needed -- delicious comfort-food that just...
