Friendship House Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Scott

Truly poor quality of people go here or work here. I went in with all the money I own walked out with zero. It was the end of the night of course no one seen or knows anything. Not a honest person around that area I guess. Waitress was nice probably the only good thing there. Food I wouldn't recommend. It was bad. And no not because my money was stolen. Because we ordered Prime Rib dinner. The meat was cold, fatty overcooked and sliced as thin as lunch meat. The potatoes tasted like instant possibly mixed. The Gravy also tasted instant. 5 people most didn't eat it. We took it for the dogs. Lolol honestly my dog wouldn't eat either. That's got to say something 🤔 My recommendation is save your money in more than one way.Just don't put yourself in my place you won't enjoy it. Its getting screwed in more than just food. And don't bother with there sheriff office its to much work for them...Lincoln County is not a good area. Odd for me to say this you have a better class of people in your big cities ( Like Madison). If they come across your money or see your money being taken they'll be more honest about it and turn it in. Not this area. They...

As anyone who knows me well knows, I like good food. Some people say I’m picky. Maybe I am. But I’m pleased to say this place passed the “test”. I’ve come to realize you really can’t accurately judge a restaurant by how it looks on the outside. I was recently at a joint that looked a bit shabby on the outside, and the food really fit the place. It wasn’t great, in case you’re wondering. This place, on the other hand, was actually quite nice inside. Not extravagant, but the atmosphere is simple, comfortable, cozy. The waiters were all friendly and accommodating. And the food was excellent. Now, I’ve been to some very high end restaurants, and I know what gourmet food is. Friendship House is not a high end gourmet place. However, anyone looking for a good hot meal, friendly service, and average prices, should not be disappointed. I invite you to see...

Great waitress, very cool horse shoe style bar for eating, not drinking. A nice little diner asthetic. However, none of this matters if the food is bad and that is exactly what it is. Bad. A light flavor of caramel in the cappuccino, but no flavor to the coffee. Poor beef quality on the French dip, not ordering it again. My pancakes were lovely by themselves, but the cream cheese stuffing can go.

Also ordered strawberry cheese cake 🎂 for dessert and it was just very blah. That's basically the overall feel in terms of the food quality. You go here if you like bland food or you're 80+ years old. 😉 however, the staff were nice, but either they need to help train their chef or they need a new one OR he's actually a really good cook and is being hamstrung by upper management. Can't say I'll be back and wouldn't encourage others dine...
