We went for Friday Night Fish Fry and got there right at 5:30 and the place was packed. We had to wait a while for a table and they were busy but my kids were entertained and patient and the atmosphere was relaxed. We had a few happy hour beers (Happy Hour is from 4-6 on Fridays). Once we got seated we ordered appetizers and entrees. The cheese curds and onion rings were delicious! The apps came out quickly despite how busy they were. We also ordered walleye, cod and shrimp fish fry- all delicious. My kids got a pizza, and it was big enough for 3 kids to share. I would go back and try other items on the menu but glad to have found this Friday...

The Shop Bar and Grill is a very popular establishment in the area. Upon my first attempted visit (with a group of people), it was so busy that we decided to dine elsewhere rather than wait for seating. That being said, on my second visit, I planned ahead and arrived earlier.
The food is priced affordably, while being high quality, and tasting great! Our waitress was very attentive, without being overly present--she was great and personable!
The establishment has several TVs with sports, a pool table, jukebox, and games.
It should be noted that this is a cash-only establishment, so plan accordingly. They do however have an ATM...

Used to be great place to go for beer and really good food. Been going there for over 14 years. Last 3 times service was bad. Twice after seated took over an hour to get food and that was for everyone and it wasn't packed like normal. The last time waitress didn't pay attention to our table, food was good but guy behind bar was vaping and helping customers. Professional. Wife went to pay for our dinner and he ignored her for about 5 minutes before he decided to ask her what she needed. Definitely not the place we are used to. Won't be back for quite a while....
