Pretty sad that if you are not a local, you will be the last served even if you were there first. We wanted to stop by that cute place for days, but the experience was ruined by some chick that wants to serve all the boys shes got a crush on first before she is to be bothered with you. The customer thats been waiting patiently. I ask to order and she said we'd have to wait, while she serves the other folks that got here after us. And the guy next to usthat just sat down. This place needs to train their people better. Some of us gotta work, we dont have time for those kind of shenanigans. Plus its first comefirst serve, isn't it? Not serve just whomever youd rather....
Read moreMy wife and I were just passing thru and decided to stop for a late breakfast. We came into a chaotic scene of un-organization. We were told to pick any where we liked to sit and waited a good 15 minutes to even get a drink order. Then waited another 20 minutes to get our food order. Then waited another 40 minutes to get our food. We were patient as we saw that the business was busy. But it’s breakfast food…. How long does it possibly take to cook two eggs and some French toast? I think they could improve on efficiency and organization. However the food was good and priced fairly. Just not good enough...
Read moreGreat experience! Tam and Dan are doing good things with the NEW Hall Diner. I had an omelette, French toast, and root vegetable homeyfries while my son had the biscuits and gravy. The sausage gravy was light with a nice sausage flavor over a good ole country biscuit. My omelette had spinach and local sausage in it that was delicious. The root vegetable homey fries were out of my comfort zone, but had wonderful flavor and if you like root vegetables, you'll love these. Lots of local ingredients as well. All in all most definitely worth the FIVE minute drive into the countryside...
