My husband and I stopped here for dinner we were really hopping to like this place but we spent the entire night just waiting around. We sat and waited awhile for a drink order then waited a while for drinks and to place our order. We waited patiently as the waitress said they were busy, we couldnât see the other side so we just said no problem and waited. It was wing night so for an appetizer we put in 2 dozen wings, I ordered a burger medium, my husband ordered the meatloaf with gravy special and a cup of chili. We watched as people who ordered after us started getting food, and still sat patiently. Then my husbandâs meatloaf came out, and after 20 minutes my burger and wings came out. My husbands meatloaf was ketchup meatloaf with gravy on top, he wasnât a fan and decided to just wait for the wings and chili. My burger came out it was well done but it was okay, nothing to write home about. My wings were okay but I wasnât a fan of the quality of the chicken. After at least another 20 minutes my husbands wings came out and they were basically just bones, he had like no meat to them. Eventually the waitress came to check on us and he ask if he could order a burger as his wings had no meat and he couldnât stomach the meatloaf. She told us the kitchen was closed at this point and she couldnât put orders in. He said okay no problem what about my chili? And she went back to the kitchen and was told an order couldnât be placed it was too late. Even though we already ordered it. Which we asked and the waitress disappeared for about 15 minutes where she ran food and whispered to the bar tender. Only to come back and say she would take the wings and drinks off the bill but they could not give him the chili. She then proceeded to tell us that she noticed halfway through our order that the ticket got ripped or misprinted in the kitchen and thatâs why the order came out the way it did and Iâm sure if she had said that at the halfway point we would have said no big deal but the fact she never said anything, let our food come out at all different times and then ghosted us, is what made us go from patiently waiting to annoyed. The food quality didnât make up for the service issues, and the bar was just full of people yelling (not our vibe). We were really disappointed in the...

Changing my review to five stars after having a delicious meal tonight. I actually personally complimented the chef, a young man who I hope stays on! The staff has always been friendly and attentive, and that was no different tonight. Dawn was great. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I had the same meal about a year ago and it was not good at all. Tonight was a different story. Perfect! Hoping to have a similar experience next time I go!
I was so excited when the Parkview opened here, and my initial dining experience was a good one. The kids and I had burgers and they were delicious. The fries were great too. However, this has happened before with the various establishments that have opened in Wallkill. The food is good in the beginning, and then the quality deteriorates rapidly. My sister and I had dinner at the Parkview in February, and she ordered the pulled pork. We were back in April and she ordered the same dish. She wasnât able to finish it, it was that bad. We made a comment to our server, a very friendly competent young man, and he returned to explain they had just lost four cooks, and were shorthanded in the kitchen. If the Parkview manages to stay in business I am sure it will be on the strength of the bar, the great set up they have, and the friendliness of the staff. However, they need to concentrate more on hiring qualified chefs - which can be accomplished by offering a higher rate of pay - to offer their dining patrons a more consistent, better...

Whether you're seeking a night out with friends, a cozy dining experience, or a family gathering, Parkview House has something for everyone at prices that won't break the bank.
During my visit, I immediately felt a warm vibe, making it the perfect last stop on my bar-hopping tour. The bartender went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute food order, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The fries, in particular, were outstanding, just as advertised.
While the crowd seemed to skew towards a more middle-aged demographic, and the music leaned towards old country and rock songs that I wasn't familiar with, the ambiance was inviting nonetheless. The bar appeared to have undergone recent renovations, boasting a fresh and clean look that added to the overall appeal.
Overall, I had a great experience at Parkview House Restaurant & Tavern and would highly recommend it to others, earning it a solid...
