Update a return visit after hearing that the person that was running the place actually took over and purchased it. Saw some good reviews. Some bad reviews, some sideway reviews so it deserved a return visit, I must say if you're going to eat out and are looking at price and price only omg their prices are so low. I can't believe how they do it or why they even try to do it because they are so inexpensive! Next we had a fish fry. I will say it was okay. I can't rave about it. It was basically a Cisco or reinhardt's fish. Patty deep fried and the potato pancakes weren't anything homemade. They were like your pre-purchased batter or something. And lacked what I look forward to in a good potato pancake next to that the service was fast. The country music playing tells me the clientele they're looking for. The local farm groups that likes to come in and slug a few cocktails, But I think they could raise their prices 8 to $10 per plate across the board. Maybe chase a few people out but bring some new people in and pay for a better quality item. Something with a wow factor that a Wisconsin supper club of its location and stature would deserve and just run some great specials during the week to bring in the farm. Folks like your 995 chicken dinner. All you can eat and tenderloin tips and gravy. Hopefully you make it. I don't see a long-term success story coming...
Read moreWe ended up here after leaving another nearby restaurant because it was too loud for us. We just wanted a more relaxed atmosphere on a Friday night after a long week. We'd never been to Leonard's Silver Creek Inn, but will definitely be back. The food was amazing! We had the hand-breaded mushrooms (omg yum), beer battered cod, and perch. We also had the homemade chowder and homemade potato pancakes and WOW! Everything was so good!! Andrea and Tom were working and were awesome to visit with while we ate our dinners (we ate at the bar). The person cooking came out (I didn't catch his name, but should have!) and was also very happy and friendly. We'll be coming...
Read moresomebody wrote only fried options she is nuts because the menu is full of great grilled and baked choices. As a fellow neighboring Pub I spend my night off enjoying one of the many options that apparently were missed by that review. I love the Moms meatloaf, Baked not Fried. The Swiss Steak, Broiled, not fried. The baked fish, that one explains itself. The local meat that I also serve is served here, they grill it not in the fryers. The chicken also local, broiled and baked, not fried, come see for yourself, this is why I spend my night off with the kid and or wife enjoying Brians...
