Red's Best Pancake House — Restaurant in Town of Sherman

I've grown up going to this place and it's great to see how much it's expanded in its growing business. The fresh, homemade syrup is to die for! All you can eat pancakes, you get a sausage with your meal, coffee or orange juice with unlimited refills. The environment is stellar, the rustic cabin feel is very homey and welcoming, as is the staff. They work very hard and are ALWAYS as bright as can be! They have a small gift shop area where you can grab a tee shirt or some of their raved about maple syrup to take home. There is always a wait to get in, but where they seat you is in where they make the fresh syrup so you get to witness part of the process it takes to make it. WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! Ten out of ten would and do reccomend people visit while you can, as they're only open a few days out...

This place made me feel like a person. I have 3 little kids and often times I feel like a dairy cow and a work horse. Here, all settled in their booster seats I wanted for nothing. The pancakes we're thinking but fluffy, the saucage was big and full of flavor. Our waitress called us all "Dear" and dispite her full tables she was always back to offer more pancakes or coffee or juice. The only thing I woul've liked was a nice tall glass of ice cold milk, but when I asked if I could bring my own next time I was given an enthusiastic "YES!" These people are the nicest folks! The all you can eat pancake breakfast with 2 sausage patties, applesauce, coffee and orange juice is great! The buckwheat pancakes are too good to be true! And I usually don't care much for pancakes! Also, their made on property maple syrup is to die for! You must take a trip to Sherman NY to eat at this little gem of a sugar shack turned cozy little restaurant! You can buy some of their amazing maple syrup or their quirky T-shirts.
