Mike's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Skaneateles

Called an order in and was told 25 minutes and went to pick it up. It wasn't busy, they weren't slammed, manager looking at his phone, took over 50 minutes. 6 sandwiches with fries, 50 minutes. Got my food handed to me without a word. The quality was sub par. I got a chicken Parm which reminded me of one of those frozen chicken sandwiches you can buy in your grocery store freezer section and pop in the microwave for near instantaneous mediocrity. The amount of marinara was a stain on the bread. The amount of chicken and cheese rattling around between the bread was comical. As we all ate in silence we looked at each other in communal dismay and quite honestly, disbelief. The subs were filled in the most miserly fashion I've ever experienced. Mike's, you can do better, the 2 dollar burgers from Byrne dairy in town are more satisfying. For 12.50 I expect more. The fries were really good FYI. After many times of ordering from Mike’s with our busy farm schedule, we have never come across a problem until today. Years of ordering, mind you. We were very disappointed and very distraught with the amount we paid versus the quality we got. Long story short and to spare all the details, the customer service was over the top today! The person that was in charge tonight was very respectful and very understanding and resolved every single issue in the most professional manner. Mike's in my opinion is the best in town! That is as long as you hit it at the right time. I usually always go for the good ol slice for convenience. During the day its fresh and so good but late after noon and night it sits there for what seems to be hours, Rock hard crust and rubbery cheese. I have learn to NEVER grab a night slice due to it always bein so bad from sitting so long.
