Red Rooster Pub — Restaurant in Town of Skaneateles

My first time was fairly pleasant other than the smell of trash and all the flys by the door but the food was good so i decided to go back with friends for a birthday dinner. We were a total of 6 people and the waitress managed to skip me for the drinks so i had to wait till she came back to get the appetizers for me to put in my drink order then skipped me again on the appetizers saying “oh sorry I thought you guys were sharing” then came back for the actual meal. I put in an appetizer as my meal. Everyone got their meals and appetizers and she said “they’re still working on your appetizer” everyone finished their appetizer and meal and I haven’t gotten my appetizer yet. Right when everyone was finishing up we called her and asked where my food was and she apologized and said she forgot then went back and got it. I ended up taking it with me. If they had better staff I would definitely come back...

I'm in town for a nursing conference and stopped in to Red Rooster for dinner. I loved the outside and the outdoor eating area but it had been raining so I sat inside. I am so glad I decided to go here!!! The food was fantastic!! I had the Fried Mac and Cheese bites as an appetizer...you get quite a bit and I ATE THEM ALL! For my entree I had Korean bbq Pork Belly tacos served on naan bread...Dear Lord...it was delicious! I have to say that the staff made the meal all the more pleasant by being so kind and attentive. I'm planning to go back one more time before I leave and I will definitely be back with my brood sometime in the Fall. If you are in town and are searching for good food and drink at good prices, make your way to the Red Rooster....you will not regret it!! (BTW...no pic of the Mac and cheese bites...tore into them...

I would give 0 star if I could. I came in 2 days ago. Didn't feel welcome at all. My phone lost service. So I asked for the WiFi password to the bartender, and she said she didn't know it. Then I asked the other lady who was serving, same answer: she didn't know the password. I even asked the bartender if they had pictures of the dishes, she said no. It's unfortunate because, prior to coming I had checked the place online and saw a picture of a dish. I came in wanting to order that dish. But my phone lost service in the area, that's why I needed the WiFi so that I could find that picture again and order it, since I didn't know its name. With all the answers by the negative, I left within 5 minutes and I found another bar/restaurant where I felt more welcome and was given the...
