I have stopped at your deli before for breakfast and lunch and never had a problem. Food was good, your staff who were comprised of Latin folks were awesome! They were on the ball, helping all of your customers, (it is called customer satisfaction) which your staff had plenty to offer, they were upbeat and happy to help..It is reason why I’ve been stopping in.. i stopped in this morning and there were 5 staff members behind counter and 3 customers including me, few more walking in..a young latin guy came from the kitchen to help at register when he heard me ask out loud if someone was going to take my order, after i waited for one of your staff members to take my order and acknowledge me. The latin lady in front was helping two other customers with their order. One of the older women turned around and looked at me gave me a dirty look and turned back around, did not acknowledge me nor offer to take my order.. no joke! The latin lady taking care of the other two customers offered to take my order, young latin man came from kitchen to help.. the other three older woman and older man walking around like they were lost and ver unhappy look on their faces, did not acknowledge customers nor offer to help... young guy mentioned the 3 older people were new and learning when i asked him why they did not bother helping customers... maybe time to train new staff on off hours and not during rush hour when people r on way to work n stop in for breakfast or lunch meals?
I mentioned to the young latin guy who helped me to tell the owners that you will not be in business long if you do not do anything about offering better customer service.. happy n friendly group of staff members helps and they need to be customer oriented and helpful, which this morning based on my experience, you had 3 Latin folks helping your customers while the other 3 folks walked around looking lost and unfriendly and totally ignored customers..
Can you tell me how this is fair for your 3 staff members doing their job and the job of the other 3 unfriendly slow pokes you working today in a very busy deli? Customer satisfaction for any business is important if you are going stay in business for a long time, especially with your high prices ( very high), friendly and hard working staff very important... i hate to say this to the owners of Cameron Deli, but your new elderly staff r horrible and very unfriendly and rude! yet your Latin staff are awesomely friendly, hard working and help your customers under very difficult working circumstances.. you need to correct it ASAP! Will not go back to your deli, by the way i was not only customer complaining this morning... your prices r very high for the terrible service and long...
Read moreMy first interaction with an employee upon entering was lovely. A very nice lady greeted me and was all smiles. I then waited on line, as I am used to doing at this deli and met with an employee that clearly hates her job and people, she ruined my day. This woman should not be taking orders or serving the public ever. I informed her of the hero I would like and specifically asked for the lettuce and tomato to be on the side. I also informed her that I was there to pick up an order I had placed remotely. She asked me how I placed it, I said online and she then seemed annoyed with that answer and said by phone? I said no via Grub Hub. This still annoyed her she asked for my name and went off and placed my in store request. She rang up my in store purchases and the price seemed way too high. I asked her what the cost of the items were. Again annoyed she told me I could see it all on the screen to the right of me. I glanced over and viewed that a large back of potato chips was billed at $6.99 so I asked her to remove it. The attitude through this entire transaction was very inappropriate. It takes a lot to get me angry but this woman took me straight there. I said to her “you don’t need to have an attitude!” Unfazed she asked me to put the chips back, which I kindly did. I proceeded to depart and she informed me that my hero was not ready, they had take it out of the bag because the sandwich maker didn’t see her request to exclude the lettuce and tomato. Normally I would have kept my mouth shut but I couldn’t, “this place sucks, I will never come back again!” I can confirm that ever since Cameron’s changed hands, the wait time is always VERY long, no matter how many employees are behind the counter and the sandwiches are much slimmer than you would get for the cost elsewhere. I have seen many delis that operate efficiently so I know it is possible. Why they do not have the sweet lady that greeted me behind the register is beyond me. No more...
Read moreI have been holding off on writing a review because I kept wanting to give them another chance to redeem themselves. I have been here 3 times in the past 6 months or so. The first time I had waited for almost 25 minutes for a simple wrap. When I asked the girl at the counter if that was my order she told me no it’s for someone else so it sat there another 5 minutes until I had to ask again and she apologized and gave it to me. The second time they gave my wrap to a customer who came in after me and gave me (and charged me) for his sandwich. When we both realized we had the wrong order we went back in and instead of making me a new wrap, because it was clearly opened and touched by the other customer, I believe they just put the contents into a new wrap and gave it to me. Meanwhile, I was charged for that customers order which was more money than my wrap and had extra bacon so I was completely over charged for my sandwich. Mind you, it wasn’t busy. We were the only 2 customers there. I decided to give it one more try today. I ordered one of their special wraps minus the ham and cheese and asked them to add bacon instead. I asked her twice about the bacon because I didn’t think she heard me or understood me the first time. They called me up to pay pretty quickly so I was a little skeptical that they actually put bacon on it so I mentioned it to the girl while she rung me up. I don’t know if it’s a language barrier, but when I opened it up, there was no bacon. I think it’s safe to say I won’t be coming...
