My brother and I have been going to Pizza & Pasta 22 almost every Saturday for over a month. They are very accommodating as we enjoy our Pizza with ricotta cheese instead of mozzarella and they load it up for us. In addition they are very generous with the meatballs. We even request it extra crispy and they are more than happy to oblige. This is without a doubt the best pizza in the Brewster area. The owner Rigo is wonderful and has a passion for the food he serves.
The Chicken Marsala slice is practically a full meal on a slice, it's hearty and full of that Marsala flavor we all love. -The BBQ wings are huge and juicy with a nice tanginess to them. -Their selection of desserts includes chocolate chip cookies (they are amazing, don't leave without them) Cannolis which are light and deliver a balance of sweetness, vanilla, and dairy, rather than the cheap heavy and super sweet trash you get in a food store. They have a cheese cake and tiramisu as well that I have yet to try.
Try this place out and don't be scared to tell them how you like your pizza/food. You won't be disappointed... If you are maybe you need to go to a doctor and have your taste buds evaluated. Only knock is the seating is mostly, not entirely, near the door, cold air comes in the winter time every time someone comes in, which is frequently. But most people are taking out and it's...
Read moreWe are a married couple and the wife is sighted and the husband is legally blind and uses a guide dog from Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We enjoy a regular trip from the Buffalo, NY area to Albany, New York and Wilton, Connecticut to visit folks who have raised puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind (some of them ultimately received by this husband in particular).
On July 3, 2024, from the 84 West highway, wife took the White Plains and Brewster exit and stayed to the right to get to Brewster and turned right at the end of the ramp onto Route 22 South so that she could locate a local quick eatery. From 2:16 PM until 3:35 PM, we stopped to eat at âPizza and Pasta 22.â Wife wanted to stop and wash her oily face in a restroom somewhere and discovered enroute that she was also hungry. We spoke to the proprietor (who was a man named Rigo), and he was willing to add sliced beef meatball to a slice of already-prepared ziti pizza that had no meat. We paid $11 and change for two extra-large-looking slices and we consumed those on site along with a bag of leftover Panera chips and a small amount of chocolate bar for each (the chips and chocolate we had brought with us). Wife washed her face and put on her oil-control makeup and felt refreshed from both the food and...
Read moreMy mother and I stumbled upon this place while on our way to the airport. I initially went in to use the restroom but the pizza smelled so good I couldnât help but grab a slice! I had a slice of with sausage and my mom had the buffalo chicken. I tried a little bit of hers and both were DELICIOUS. And Iâm not even a fan of buffalo chicken normally. We meant to take the food with us on the road but it smelled so good that we ended up eating it in the car while sitting in the parking lot lol. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, they thanked us for coming and noted that they just opened a few days ago. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean, the service was great and food was excellent. Prices are great too for the portions - our two slices totaled just under $9 and the slices were huge, traditional NY style slices. We were just passing through but I hope they continue to get more business and stay around for years to come. Definitely check them out if youâre ever...
