First off no staff were wearing masks. I thought the owner was an ICU nurse? It is mandated in Dane County and they have signs posted to wear a mask, but nobody did. We sat down and waitress took our drink order, just sodas and a tonic water with lime. My mom told her we were ready to order food. 30 min later she came to get our food order. She said it would be an hour for pizza. Ok. We ordered appetizers. 30 min later we got our dummies and cheese curds. 2 hours after we ordered our pizza we still hadn't been served out pizza We got up and told the waitress that we were leaving, as we had waited for 2 hours. We left the waitress $20 for our appetizers and drinks. We were all very hungry by this point. People who came in after us were served before us. The place was not that crowded. I'm fully aware places are short staffed. But the service here was just awful. We were just a party of 6 that had ordered pizzas. No one came to refill drinks. Our ice had completely melted in our drinks. We weren't the only ones with problems. One gentlemen waited 30 min at his table to get his bill. I've never written a review before, but I felt this warranted a review. I hope they can turn things around, as I do support small businesses, but this...
Read moreThe bartender is a real sweetheart and gets to know her guests. She will chit chat just enough to make you feel not only welcome, but like you are part of some cool inner circle. Like sitting at the cool kids table. lol But she doesn't chat too long to where she forgets that there are other customers there too. The cook is super nice too and is just like the bartender, she too will make you feel like a friend. And she will make sure that what she made you is up to your standards and you are happy with your meal. If something isn't quite right she will jump right back into action and do what it takes to make sure you are happy with your meal. She made me the biggest hamburger I've ever eaten in my life. It was very tasty indeed! And I love the fries because they weren't overcooked and hard as a rock like a lot of places do, they were perfectly fried and very good. Keep in mind that this is a down home local bar and grill. What you see is what you get. It's not an upscale restaurant, remember that if you are leaving a review. It's easy for me to give them a 5 star review because they are great at what they are, a down home cozy...
Read moreStopped in here Monday night with some friends to get some of their famous Pizza. Monday was also $2 Taco Day, so had to get some of those as an appetizer as well. The chicken tacos were very tasty. We got the Meat Lovers Pizza (What I am calling it) and it was LOADED with different kinds of meat. It was a struggle to eat two pieces of pizza after the taco appetizers. Great Service by our waitress, and we were even able to buy some State Lottery Tickets from their machine right there in the bar. Good Times, just wish I would have taken...
