Pete's Treats — Restaurant in Town of Springport

Not like last year! Don't waste your time unless you have the time to waste! Went for a quick lunch wasn't crowded, but took 45 minutes to get out food! Two orders of burgers and two orders of curly fries with cheese wasn't worth it. By the time we got our food I wasn't even hungry anymore. The place shows favoritism as well. Just because we are not locals living there, but live in the general area we should al be treated fairly. For example the people in front of us got a small scoop of ice cream, so my boyfriend did the same flavor same size. What a difference!! His looked liked a kiddie scoop, while the people who just got there the ice cream was hanging off the regular size cone!! Where's the old man with the gray mustache and very friendly from last year? I would say I miss him and wish he was there all the time, but there won't be a next...

I ordered a LARGE hard icecream " Maple Walnut" in a cone at a cost of $4.25 I was shocked when I was handed an icecream cone that would be easily classified as a small ice cream cone at most other ice cream parlors. Also the ice cream they were serving was not hard but very soft like their freezers weren't working properly. This would account for such small scoops and few Scoops in their large ice cream cones. If that's the case then don't charge for a large cone or at least let the customer know you cannot scoop a large cone. For right now I could not recommend Pete's Treats for their hard scoop ice cream cones. Ending on a positive note... very friendly staff and a very nice newly...

Very friendly staff, however the product was mediocre. Every time I've been there I've tried multiple different ice creams and all of which have a very granulated texture. It tastes like all of the hard ice cream has melted then been refrozen and all of the soft ice cream is oddly stringy. On top of that, their spoons are so flimsy that you can't really eat your ice cream unless its on a cone and there are wasps nests in their trashcans! Overall, the workers are friendly and provide quick service, but the management needs to train employess better and pay more attention to the customer experience. They're lucky they don't have any competition nearby, they wouldn't last long....
