Flat fries WHAT?! I got the 6pc Yellow perch and had an order of 5 chicken tenders split between my two daughters both were with their "flat fries", I ordered 3 virgin Pina Coladas for drinks. It was a Friday night at 7pm, the food took about 40mins to get but the atmosphere was homey and extremely laid back... When the food came, I just put my fish on the side plate and gave my daughter's both orders of fries with their tenders (I ate the fifth ;)). The flat fries were those thick cut fries except really thin, like they used the big spinning deli slicer to make these and oh. My. God. I didn't eat fish for almost ten minutes because I couldn't stop with these flat fries!!! The perch was outstanding and the tenders were delicious. But those flat fries... The waitress gave us a discount bc the drinks weren't alcoholic, which was extremely considerate!

BUT THOSE FRIES!!! I will be going back...

We had to move seats while eating 3 times because of the clientele. The 3td move was out the door. We were in such a hurry to get out of there, we paid in cash and left a minimal tip because we didn't want to wait for our credit card to be ran. The staff was either too accustomed to what was going on or too inexperienced to handle it. And the food...my gluten free partner was served breaded shrimp after having a long conversation with the server about it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and waffle fries. I received a piece of charcoal with bacon and cheese on it. No waffle fries but the server did apologize about forgetting my side salad? Don't quite understand how waffle fries got translated to a side salad that was also forgotten. The deep fried mac and cheese bites were good there. If you like swarms of flies, I recommend getting a table outside...

Great place for lunch, dinner, a game, and/or a night cap. The food and service are both great. The burgers, pizza, ribs, and fish are all terrific. There are always interesting specials and/or items on the menu that are a step beyond that you'd typically find in the area. All food and drinks are reasonably priced.

The bar area is set up very well with several TVs making it a perfect spot to catch your favorite team at. Seats do fill up quickly for Badger and Packer games though so it doesn't hurt to arrive early.

The Fox is located at Little Silver Lake which has a beautiful beach and crystal clear water. Since it is a smaller lake it is slow no wake...
