Not Justa Diner — Restaurant in Town of St. Croix Falls

I decided to order from here through Doordash for my lunch at work, as I've never tried their food. And now I deeply regret it, because I may as well have just thrown away my money instead. The Corn Fritters were the size of tatertots; they give you about 11 of them, so ends up being about a $1 a piece (way too expensive for the quality). The Fritters have an odd taste; might've been the oil they were cooked in, or a freezer taste? I couldn't place what caused it, but it was not good. The Chicken Salad was absolute garbage... About a third of the lettuce was half rotten (some is pictured, the rest I picked out as I tried to eat some of the salad), the tomato hunks were pretty much white; unripe, hard, and bland. There was about 2 cups of shredded Cheddar thrown on top, the (fried) chicken was gray in color and mushy textured (should've taken a picture of the chicken closer up, because it looks better in my pictures than it ACTUALLY was in person). And to top it off there was a chunk of BREAKFAST sausage randomly on the salad (see multiple pictures). They also never sent the ranch dressing that was ordered with the salad even. Please, please, please, do NOT waste your money here. Anyone can cook better than this! If they can't even do a pretty basic/average salad well, I don't want to ever find out what the rest of the food is like. I was hopeful for this place but unfortunately I will never eat from here again. (Luckily Doordash at least...

When the place first opened (after Waynes cafe) We had excellent service, great food etc. Last few times we went there we had to wait a lengthy amount of time before we were even acknowledged by a waitress. This LAST and final visit (we crossed it off our list), we had a waitress, unsure of her name (older lady with a short haircut) had her the last 3 visits. Two tables of people who came in after us and were waited on before we were even acknowledged. It was 16 minutes before we were asked if we wanted coffee or anything to drink. It was another 8 minutes before we got our coffee (forgot the water) After we finally got our food, the sausage patties were so overcooked that I couldn't eat them. they had the color of leather and couldnt cut them. Been up here 5 years now. Converted this local diner to a Not Justa. We were looking forward to that as all of the other Not Justas in the area have great food. 1st visit was good. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Today… absolutely the worst I e experienced. We went with the “Special”. Biscuts and sausage gravy. Initially came out with rock hard cold biscuts. Sent that back, next they came out with hot biscuts BUT. Their biscuts were all well overdone on the top and still hard, they were obviously out of a can and not even quality ones and the sausage gravy was not at all Pork sausage. Whatever meat it was very grainy. Most likely Turkey sausage. What’s sad is this is only a 5 min drive and if anything the food quality has gone downhill since it became a Not Justa. We should have made the hour drive to Perkins...
