The margaritas are fresh, zippy, chilled and potent. From the house margarita to designer concoctions with many different brands of tequila, you can enjoy them by the glass or the pitcher: Milagro, Hornitos, Patron, Jose Cuervo, and many more.
But the food is even more magnificent than the margaritas. Tamal, a fluffy, light, husk-less tamale arrives with a fresh mesclun mix salad, and a red and a green sauce covering each half of the succulent little Mexican dumpling. Cheese, beef, and pork are my favorite Tamal fillings.
Enchiladas Oaxaca style, burritos, and seafood round out this succulent offering of this small gem of a family eatery.
The steak is also delicious. My favorite is the Diablo, because of the heat and the sweet plantain side. But I also like the Ranchero. As a matter of fact, I am going to stop writing and order a to-go steak Ranchero.
Enjoy your meal. Dine in or take out. This is a lovely home-style restaurant that never...
Read moreWent with a friend who had been to this restaurant a few times and liked it. We arrived for lunch at around noon and the woman working inside seemed a little put out instead of welcoming us. Not a good first impression. We ordered right away and the food came quickly. I had fajitas. I asked if I could get extra guacamole in place of sour cream and she said "no substitutions" so I got sour cream which I didn't eat. The guacamole was very good and so were the tortillas but the rest was mediocre. I wouldn't return. The last straw was when I went to the rest room to wash my hands before we left and found it disgustingly filthy. I really couldn't believe it. No soap in the dispenser and it look like the rest room hadn't been cleaned in months. If that is how they keep the bathroom what is the...

Bring the second time in this area for camping, this is about the best Mexican food I had in a long time.
We started with some free chip and salsa and they are very generous for a refill. They are so good either we are starving or carving for food.
Jalapeño margarita is the best item on the menu. Don't skip it. Don't go for the frozen one because they are that much weaker and too sweat.
We ordered a few entrees. They are all amazing. I started with beef taco and it's about the best tacos I ever had. My friends got the fajita and all. Every dish is an art.
We came here twice on a weekend and that's something. We pick this over fancy French so you got to...
