Ugly Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Stillwater

TLDR: A new shop built, owned, run and designed by amazing people who love their work the way a place designed for fun and memories should. Could not recommend Ugly Ice Cream more highly, and props to the whole team!

As someone who’s not much of an ice cream guy myself, I often struggle at ice cream shops knowing what to order. Out of habit, I decided to order the chicken tenders, and they came out SUPER quickly. My friend told me she doesn’t like tenders much, but usually they’re a safe bet for me. When I took them out, I thought they looked a little odd, and worried the new place hadn’t gotten their recipes down yet. Then I took my first bite.

As my eyes widened, I realized that they didn’t look strange, but literally all the chicken tenders I’ve ever had in my life were the strange ones. I’m being 100% honest when I say these are the best chicken tenders I’ve had in my life. I ran over to my friend and forced her to take just one bite. I left to chat with some friends for a few minutes and by the time I had come back, my entire plate was gone!

Overall, between mind blowing food, lemonade that tastes like it comes in a thin tall glass at Ruth’s Chris but instead comes in a container so big I had to hold it like I held my milk glass as a child (which is a whole other tangent I could go on as a self proclaimed lemonade connoisseur), extremely friendly and professional staff, and vibes that are off the charts, I can’t wait to see what these guys do next.

Perfecttttttttt ice cream and super fun place. I'm a classic soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, regular cone kind of girl. This ice cream was super creamy, so refreshing, vanilla-y and just delicious. I also had Ugly tots and pizza! But they have lots of other options too. I was surprised at how many for a beach snack shack! I'll be stopping by non-stop this summer. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu! I got to try the ice cream and food for an exclusive early taste-test pre-opening event. Everyone else there seemed to love everything as much as I did! Definitely a huge treat for Saratoga Lake community...
