We live near Rhinebeck and usually frequent that location, which closes in the winter months. I leaned recently; they have a location in Kinderhook, and decided to check it out.

This location is much bigger inside, with a small play area with books for the kids.

The ice cream is yummy per usual. The good thing about this location, is that you can see the ice cream flavors like most shops (this is not an option in Rhinebeck).

Daughter ordered their chicken nuggets; although plentiful, was not real solid pieces of chicken. My son ordered their chicken sandwich, which was good. I ordered my beloved ice cream flight (after food of course 😇).

Great option in the colder months, and...

New business...so there's that...stopped to pick up dinner one evening. Burger, chicken sandwich, fries & onion rings and 2 small dishes of ice cream was over $40 Food was good- but a bit pricey. The wait time however was silly- well over 1/2 an hour (not busy either) and my ice cream order had been given to me right after I ordered (melted by the time i got my order and home!) Will give them another chance once up & running. The place is spotlessly clean and nicely laid out. Very friendly staff. Best ice cream I've ever had! (The ice cream has been available locally...

This place is great! All the food and ice cream has been delicious and came out perfectly. We have several people with food allergies in our family and appreciate that they have gluten free and dairy free options clearly marked, and that they have been careful with our orders, double checking with us to make sure it came out right. It’s been awesome to finally have a yummy casual place we can all eat at right near where we live. We even ride bikes to it on the trail sometimes, or walk from a relative’s house. Looking forward to coming here...

This place is awesome & the fries are incredible! I had some questions about the property that the server didn’t know, so I got introduced to the manager and she was so bubbly. She was helping with the kitchen and STILL came out and answered all my questions. I am very impressed. The specials with local ingredients is really what hit home for me. Thank you Del’s for coming to Kinderhook, NY!

I got the grilled chicken sandwich, dinner companion got the fried chicken sandwich. Both are a good size piece of chicken, juicy and tasty. We split a cup of fries and had some left over, also very good. We each got a yummy chocolate shake to round out the meal. Hoping they'll have the boozy shakes at this location soon!
