AWFUL SERVICE I made a reservation for 5:30 & I met my party there. After placing our order, an hour and forty five minutes passed while our waiter served everybody around us. He then, only after overhearing my conversation with a neighboring table, came over to tell us that there was a technical issue and our order had never been placed. We had to ask for more water as he began to walk away, and only then did a member of my party have the opportunity to order a drink. The tables proceeded to be processed in the order they were taken, while we waited for another 45 minutes. Another table who had also experienced very terrible service had to come over and ask what he said to us because they had been waiting for two hours as well; they left without receiving their order. We got our food nearly two and a half hours later, and the drink never came. Our table was cleared almost instantly after we ate. When I expressed my concern, the waiter barely had anything to say and brought the bill over. That was the most I had seen him all night. After speaking with a manager we received a 10% employee discount on a bill totaling over $100. (& we were not charged for a drink that actually had been brought to the table 40 minutes after it was ordered) The manager also asked me if I would like to work, when I said the service was bad. Somehow the 10% discount was $8. The only thing anybody had to say was “Sorry, but we had a technical issue.” By far the WORST dining experience I have ever...

Terrible experience last night. After waiting a long time for a table, my husband was served a burrito he did not order. When we told the waitress, she apologized and said "that was my fault" and walked away leaving us thinking she would bring the right dish out. However, when she did come back she brought the bill which included the burrito we did not order. When we asked her if my husband would be getting his dinner she looked at us and said she didn't know we still wanted it!!! She goes back into the kitchen and comes back to say it's too late the stove has been turned off, and if we still want it we will have to wait a long time. When we asked to speak to the owner Carlos, he came out with a big attitude. Not even understanding what the situation was, he proceeded to tell us it was a busy night and this is how it goes when its busy and if we don't like it they don't need us as customers. I've had many dining experiences in my life but this one is the most confusing/shocking to date! It is safe to say we will not be returning to...

went for a late lunch, 3 PM -- they were happy to see us and served us an amazing lunch, while we sat and gorged our eyes on the sparkling Hudson 30 yards across the railroad tracks from our table in this wonderfully restored 19th century building that also houses the Post Office (oh yeah, and the train swings by at 80 mph every 20 mins or so). So it goes straight through all day, has an amazing view, and serves authentic 'high' Mexican cuisine, I had irresistable steak fajitas, but C's chicken mole enchildas were equally perfect. We are thrilled to have this as a local, and encourage our neighbors to you to enjoy as well, just passing through? This is well...

I have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and last night I drove up to Stuyvesant. This restaurant sits across from the Hudson River so I decided to take a seat out on the front porch. My waiter Jake suggested the Chile Relleno which is a large poblano chile stuffed with spinach, cheese and I chose the pulled chicken as my protein. This dish was absolutely delicious. Every forkful melted in my mouth. Kudos to Chef Moises. I am so glad that I finally made it there and I am looking forward to going back.

Great simple Mexican restaurant over looking the Hudson River and Amtrak station. They make a terrible mistake not staying open till 10:00 during the summer and closing when ever they feel. Makes it impossible for us to invite people for dinner on weekends. No one we know eats by 8:30. Nor wants to eat so early, in the summer. No point to drive over if always or might be closed!
