Lakeport Inn — Restaurant in Town of Sullivan

So I came specifically for the Sunday morning breakfast. If you're expecting a restaurant style experience, this isn't it as it is a bar typically. 4-5 tables and the bar are your seating arrangements, and the walls probably haven't been redone in years. However, that is the only negative I can say about this place. The server was extremely personable and friendly, and made me feel like a regular even though this was my first time there. The food was outstanding and generous portions. The omelet was huge and very generous with ingredients. Home fries with onions were phemonal and tasted like they came out of the cast iron at home. My Husband and I have eaten at many different places national and international being that he was in the military. By far the best food we have had in a long time. Definitely off the beaten path but well worth the travel if you are not local. Everything was cooked perfectly! Seasoned perfectly and holy cow so much food. I would give 10 stars if it was a thing ✨️ Definitely worth the money and if you happen to be local or traveling through trust me stop in you will not be disappointed. Service and food were both more than we expected. I have 15 plus years in the food service industry and I can not even begin to explain how I expected just average bar room food. This IS NOT Bar room food at all! Shot out to the cook and Tanya you guys out did yourselves....

I went all in and got the Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe for my takeout order. Normally I opt for the bland, tasteless, healthy stuff but tonight I wanted this bacon cheeseburger deluxe and they did not disappoint! It was huge, and had just the right amount of lettuce, tom, onion, and mayo. I even added fries because they looked so good in the pictures and they were equally as awesome. We also ordered the fish sandwich which was delicious, but the restaurant was really cool and told us to get the platter instead of the sandwich next time because you get twice the fish, which was delish.
