My husband and I decided to try this restaurant as we are Italian Food lovers, the sign stated fresh pasta made daily, plus reviews were good. We were seated ten minutes early, order taken about ten minutes later, we ordered garlic cheese bread, 1 French onion soup, ravioli with a side of meatballs and veal parm. An hour and ten minutes later as I was sitting with my head in my hand the owner,Manager stopped and asked if everything was okay, no, we would like our food. She said you got your salads right, no, no soup, nor appetizer, so she went to check on it. Sorry, the cook missed it on the ticket, it will be out in four minutes. Finally about five minutes later our food came out, ten minutes later the garlic cheese bread and French onion soup came out when we were half finished with our meal. I still don't know why we didn't walk out at the half hour mark, no one stopped to check on us, tell us the kitchen was short staffed or any explanation. The food was okay, we've had better. I guess if you're a local and this is the only Italian in town and you're willing to wait all night for your food it's okay, but wouldn't recommend. Also the bus-girl was clearly new as she stood around doing nothing a lot, well unless you count playing with her...
Read moreIt was our first night in Lake George and after a 3 hour ride we were hungry. The town center was packed and we had 9 people, including 4 children. So we kept going hoping to run into something else. We went the wrong way. There was nothing. We finally found one small restaurant but they couldn't handle our party without a reservation. They pointed us in the direction of Eddie's. When we got there, we were seated immediately. The hostess was fabulous. They quickly brought out bread for the kids. The rest of the food was fantastic. I had the prime rib and finished the whole slab. And from what I heard from the rest of my family they all enjoyed their meals just as much, including the children. The restaurant itself was clean and had a charming country theme. I would highly recommend Eddie's to anyone planning on being in the area. And if we ever get back up to the area, I will definitely...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I dined here while staying at the Trout House in early January and again in late February. The food and service were phenomenal. During both of our visits, there were large parties going on in the back and our waitress (one of the owners) was juggling back and forth between both. There wasn't even a hiccup in the service during either visit. The appetizers, soup and dinner all arrived hot and perfectly spaced out. The food was decadent and seemed to come from creative, homemade recipes with very distinctive and unique tastes. Their fried mozzarella sticks with raspberry sauce and their roasted red pepper bisque were the highlights of our meals. We felt more like guests in someone's home rather than customers in a restaurant. We look forward to dining here again next time we're...
